I haven't played either enough to know if they are brutal, or if I'm just crap at Pinball. No regrets buying either though.

I think I've played Star Wars enough now to realise it doesn't seem brutal at all to me. Granted I've lowered the outlanes, and it has a liberal tilt bob, but a light nudge is usually enough to advert a drain. I've also set the extra credit awards to extra balls like I do with all my Stern's, and low bounce flipper rubbers make ball control easier.

Game times seem fairly long all considered.

The companion piece to tx-sector turned up today, Mars God of War, nice uncommon widebody Gottlieb system 80 project, in overall decent condition but needing some love.. I had a replacement mpu which gets it working and playing a game without sound and a few lights out etc but looking forward to getting stuck in.

Well packaged, great delivery service as usual. Don't have a ton of time today but levelled and played a single game and absolutely loved it, can't wait to play more.

I've already managed to get it running on the modified Movie code (from the Pinside forum). The added movie music and clips are great.

R'd this bad boy on Saturday (big thanks to Davey!)- still learning what the minor villians do, but it's great and nearly got my first Billion on one game, which I realise is just the start.
Trying to avoid just following the *Bookworm/Tut maximum points strategy for now and just enjoy trying stuff out.

*before i got the game i was reading up on some of the rules and I could see that some were saying the game can become repetitive, as if you fail bookwork on your first ball, it kind of screws you up, but I noticed if you do fail, you can then use mad-hatrer(?) to retry it?; thought that was a fun element.

That prismatic powder I had done is gorgeous
I traded up to an LE but in honesty this one played a lot better as the niggling issues were sorted by that release.

Pictures don’t do this justice in the slightest, and I didn’t receive it today - but I was recently gifted this incredible custom lit sign by my mate (and recent forum member) @AndulusPandulud and his fiancé, and I finally worked up the nerve to put it up last night.





The story behind it is that my name is Guy and I’ve always said that my lottery win plan is to open a pinball venue called Guy’s Balls - mainly because I’m nothing if not immature and I like coming up with taglines like ‘everyone loves Guy’s Balls’ and ‘bring the family down and play with Guy’s Balls’. You get the gist.

Absolutely love it.

Picked up my next project today Seller had owned the game for 14 years and I don't think it's had much play in that time. Was sat in a dusty garage and it's filthy but that's the original red on the cabinet Should hopefully clean up well and be a nice example but won't know for sure until I can break into it as there's no keys!
