Honestly just get titan rubbers.

Perfect play are so grippy that I got airballs on GnR.

I immediately replaced them job done no air balls.

You can buy them from pinballshop.nl and soon from retro arcade specialists

I prefer Titans too but not everyone does so it's good to test them all out yourself I think. I tried superbands too, they were easily my least favourite!

I've got Titans on it already. Just wanted to try some perfect plays as I never have
 
106 next day from Amazon but solid piece of kit, lined drawers and perfect size for pinroom
 
So first I get a misprint FT playfield from CPR, then they send another which is ok but has been damaged next I get a playfield protector that’s sticking out because they couldn’t use a bit of tape around the edges and is now warped so no good.

You got to laugh, right?

I was told the text not being as sharp is a part of digital printing Vs screen printing. But that looks worse than what I've seen.
Did you have to send one back?

Playfield protectors IMO are just worthless junk.

I put one on my BSD and had nothing but issues with it. I ended up cutting the thing up and binning it.

Looks great, but those side trays look " Col's feet sized " so you know he's going to try to ride it down the drive! And he already has a broken arm!

Screen printing is nicer but they have stopped doing it now, the second one they sent is good and has crisp clear print. The dodgy one was set up wrong.
Being collected today I hope.

I had one on my BSD and it was good, also got one on High Speed and Fish Tales which are both ok.

The BSD I got is all digital and honestly I can't tell the difference.

Did yours have the tail that goes into the shooter lane?

My one did and it caused nothing but grief.

It also kept leaving 'sweat' patches on the playfield which looked awful.

Can’t remember but it played perfect, came fitted already by @RudeDogg1as he did a nice restoration on it.
No sweat patches that I have noticed on the ones I fitted here.

They have their place, but I’m fitting a new playfield on FT as CPR have just made some after a 10 year wait. Only because I will never sell that one.

I did see some footage of a Firepower recently that had one fitted and you could see it laying flat where the ball was rolling across it, looked terrible.

Will probably also get one for a Future Spa I just picked up that’s probably got cupped inserts, only a hardtop available for that but I did send a pic to Kevin at CPR who thought it was “ A fine specimen“ as he is looking for a good one to copy as he said most over there are trashed.

So as you can see I don’t mind them, rather have a nice playfield without but not life changing in a negative way with them for me as long as they fit properly and lay flat. Sometimes they might need a bit of cutting to fit properly. Expensive for what they are though.
