Dust and dirt won’t hurt that board, trying to clean it could.

it not broken like you said 🤪
But what about preventive treatment then, you think replacing those browning plus is worth it?
Seriously considering doing them just in case an issue is lingering.

It doesn’t look burnt, more stained with dirt and that’s not a reason to change them.
your giving your self jobs to do that don’t need doing.
give the playfield a polish and get those warp factors up, I love mine.

What I did do with mine is I did a full Capacitor change loads were low in value, now that is worth doing now it’s 30 years old, warning!!! double sided print is not easy to do.

You must be pulling my leg, that sounds like a job and a half. I don't think I'll be going near them.

I did fix TVs and videos back in the day, double sided print is not easy.
If it’s not resetting then no need to do a capacitor change.
lockdown got to me so I did all my Williams machines. Rock solid touch wood lol

Has anyone seen this level of dirt/dust before,

Yep . And way worse too.
That’s not burning on those header pins just caked on pinball dust - you do often see that near resistors that may be running warm , a bit like the dirty dust marks on walls above radiators as a result of the air convection .
It would clean off if you wanted to but it’s not a problem.

Your board doesn't look too minging to me, but you may find this thread of interest from the prolific shop logger of that time

I've never taken to the idea of doing anything 'like a boss'. To me, it implies grudgingly, with the view "why should I be doing this, when I have others who could do it?"
