Wow they thought of everything. Looks like a fuse is out. Funny as i checked those with a meter. Is the coin door open. Close it and look at the LEDs on the left hand board. They tell you if a fuse is out.
Doesn't sound like something a 4A slow blow is going to fixlooks like bridge 5 is your main suspect
The wires were tight down the back but i was pretty careful with them. Can't get hold of a slow blow fuse anyway. Maplin are useless. You've just set this up? Check there's no wires pinched between the head and the cab when you lifted it.
Where do you check this? I'd of thought it was just a case of changing the plug over seeing as they're on 230v?Is the voltage set correct Darren. It is from abroad so I would check.
No this has come over from a drug lord in Scilly. Is this a brand new machine Darren?
I believe so....yes.Still doesn't start a game though. I'd of thought you could start game with dmd unplugged?
Okay so it wasn't on free play. Put a credit on it using left button. It plays. Need to find this fault onto dmdI believe so....yes.
Is it just the power to the DMD you disconnected which stopped the fuse blowing? I'd be checking the DMD controller for any damaged wiring/components
I have a spare DMD for Stern SAM machines (taken from IJ4) you could try if it's compatible?
They only had the shorter ones. I managed to get some from a local electrical wholesalers. Already used 6 of 10 getting to this point.Maplins fuses a called "time delay "
For. Slow blow fuse
