Wanted Scared Stiff

Did you get to the bottom of the bat ramp air balls? Mine has a spot between the skull pile and the back where the ball can stick which is an eas fix, my crate door spike thing needs a slight adjust and the rear bony beast skeleton is a pain, but largely it plays ok more than not - and I did scared stiff at the weekend :)

Before I replaced the Bat ramp my scared stiff played incredibly fast with no air balls

When I replaced the ramp I had done a tonne of other work. New flipper bats. New bearings. Flipper rebuilds, mylar pulled..

So it may be that the air balls were caused by the whole game being shinier with less fiction. Or it could be the angle of the new bat ramp, I think the latter. Repro ramps are never as good.

To stop the air balls I just adjusted the eos switch on the left flipper to reduce power. The other way would be to put a clear plastic cover on the steep part of the bat ramp. Lots of games have this already like shadow. TZ etc.

I'd been thinking about this actually once I've filmed it in slow motion so I can see its not anything else. It happens about 1-2 times in 10. Ramp is new. Other issues on the table are quite minor.
