pound money values on high score TWD

folks,
on my TWD I've got pound money values linked to high scores? What is this and how do I kill it?

I'm guessing you've got the tournament mode button thing activated. I've never used it in so I'm not 100% sure.

If you go through the settings there should be an option to turn it off.

Out of interest does anyone know how it works in the wild? Is it a winner takes all type pot each week? If so how do they know who to give the cash to?

Split between 1st (60-75%?) and 2nd, when the operator turns up to take the earnings, leaves the two bags of cash with names on them behind the bar. That's how it used to work down my local pub..
