Pinball Gameplay & Tutorial Videos

@David_Vi could do with learning to play it, especially after his performance yesterday at flipout. I've asked if I can do a video with him on his roadshow, we will see 😂

Hey that's junk!
It's a mean Ted at Pinball Republic, not mine and that's my excuse.

Could do a video, it'll be a laugh. @Gonzo is doing one with @roadshow16 which will be the professional way to play. We could do the drunk way to play or something unique...😁

I'm down for that, get your spare bedroom sorted though as although drink driving would be very on-brand for Roadshow it might not be great for me 😂

Still amazed that it took 12 videos before I got the chance to share a Bally Williams machine with you guys. Today I am featuring the self-appointed greatest pinball on earth - Cirqus Voltaire! Please enjoy and let me know your thoughts 😃 For those who already know how to play this machine and wish to jump straight to the gameplay skip forwards to 6:20

Ever wondered how to play Gottlieb's Victory...? I thought not, but I'm coming at you with a tutorial & gameplay video anyway. Victory has always been one of my favourite, most nostalgic machines and thankfully I had the opportunity to get one recently so really happy to be able to bring this one to you all. Please enjoy.

Lovely job mate and the machine looked to be playing really well.

Been a bit quiet recently as currently mid-move to a new flat which is a nightmare with this many pinball machines. Today I have a Rocky and Bullwinkle to share with you that was sent to the workshop for repair and a tidy up. Enjoy!

What happened? In the first video you said you don't cradle, it does your head in when people do it (along those lines anyway), then in this game you're cradling balls.

Conspiracy as James claims he's not a controlled player. He gets high scores on my Road Show in multiball on the fly where as I cradle up. Always amazed me and we had this conversation about his play style because of it😆

I'm sure the answer is there's exceptions 😉

I think my playstyle is developing a little, I still don't really cradle up at all during a multi-ball, I generally enjoy the chaos of it and as @David_Vi said I'm very much an "on the fly" player, seems to work reasonably okay for me sometimes haha

I wouldn't say I was a controlled player at all, a sixth sense for ball speed and flipper trajectory during chaotic multiballs perhaps though 😂

I used to cradle the ball until I had a good game and long ball cradle on LOTR, it nearly caught fire and stank the room out and realised what was going on when the flipper wouldn’t drop. Since then I just go with the flow mostly😂

Have been rather ill the last few weeks so to save my voice I wanted to film a game that didn't take much explaining. Today I'm brining to you the Ten Strike Classic bowler released in 2003. Although not a pinball machine this is a fantastic little game and always appeals to friends/family when they are here. I've been a bowler most of my life and also spent the majority of my working life as a mechanic working on the pinsetter machines at various alleys so this is a rather fitting game for me. Please enjoy!

Love these!!! Also ties in with me... used to Ten pin bowl in a league in Bristol for years, until my dodgy back decided it wasnt playing ball and had to give up on Doc's Advice :(

One day will hopefully get one of these if the prices are reasonable..

Loving the video - thanks for posting it @MajesticPinball

Back to pinball this week and today I'll be sharing with you a Williams Darling from 1973 which stopped by the workshop after being left in storage for many many years. Please enjoy and let me know your thoughts as always. I just hit 135 subscribers which amazes me that so many people care about my ramblings so if you are one of those subscribers, thank you so much for sticking around!

Hello all, I haven't been frequenting the forum too much recently so I'm a little behind with posting but for those not subscribed to the channel I've got 3 new videos out, 2 featuring the very special Transporter The Rescue from Bally in 1989 - there's a regular tutorial & gameplay video and also a separate video of just gameplay without me rattling on in the background for those who just want to see how it plays:

Regular 'ol video which hopefully you're all familiar with:

Gameplay only with some dimmed lights to save on my leccy bill:

After that we have yet another Gottlieb - who saw that coming?? This time we are looking at the rather uncommon but very very beautiful Diamond Lady from 1988. For those at the UK Open you will recognise this machine and may enjoy seeing it being brutally mean to me in the video:

Been really enjoying your vids in lunch breaks. I think you get the mix of history / rules and gameplay Spot on. Keep up the good work sir!
That's very kind of you to say thank you, its hard to get a good mix as I don't want to bore people to death before the gameplay section even starts haha! Glad I've been keeping you company during your lunch breaks.

Next up under the GoPro is Zaccaria's beautiful Farfalla from 1983. This game currently lives at the Pinball Republic Club in Croydon who very kindly let me film a handful of games there so you can look forward to seeing a few more of their machines featured on the channel very soon.

Sorry for the delay in posting, lots going on atm and I've got lots of machines filmed just waiting to be edited. Some of the games you can expect to see very shortly are Alien Poker, Spin-Out, White Water, Aquarius, High Roller Casino & Rollergames plus a few other surprises however today we shall be taking a look at Pinball Republic's very own Embryon. Thanks again to all the founders kind enough to let me film a few games once I was done fixing! Happy new year folks and see you all in 2023!

Well its 2023 and I got off my lazy ass and edited another video, 2 in 1 week can you believe it?! Today I have Williams beautiful Alien Poker to share with you - which actually treated me to a pretty decent game while I was filming which was nice. This machine is available for everyone to play at Pinball Republic in Croydon and once again, thank you to all the founders for allowing me to film some of their games. Please enjoy!

Hold onto your hats folks I'm coming at you with a Bally/Williams game for a change, only the second one so far for the channel! This time it's Whitewater from 1993 which is another machine currently living at Pinball Republic. Let me know your thoughts - do you like me showing the less-known games or would you rather see a few more 90's classics from Bally Williams which everyone knows and loves. Please enjoy!

As much as we love the classics, there is already loads of material on them on youtube. Whereas some of the older, more obscure titles can be quite hard to find videos of.

Good evening pinballers, today I'll be bringing you another Gottlieb from the collection. In this episode we will be looking at one of my favourite System 3 machines: Tee'd Off - Not to be confused with No Good Gofers from Williams. Somehow this ended up being my longest video to date, for those who want to miss the tutorial and head straight into the gameplay section just skip ahead to 8:40
