I’m looking for a new car, one which will be comfy on long journeys, get a reasonable mpg. I don’t want a huge mpv or van as it’ll be a daily driver for commuting and most roads around me are country roads so something which won’t wallow everywhere. Priced somewhere between 2k-4k. Preferably over 130hp & diesel. I’ve been looking on the ridc website and looking for cars with big boot openings to fit.
Top contenders are:
Ford C-Max 2.0 diesel
Renault scenic 1.5
Toyota verso 2.2d
Maybe a slightly older S-Max.
Skoda yeti
Toyota verso..
Though I know some modern cars have an awkward lip to pull the machine up/over. So asking if there’s any recommendations.
cheers.
