new respect for operators

One of the coin chutes doesn't always give credits even though the coin goes thru the right way going to try and move it to the other chute and see if it helps.

If coins are failing to operate the coin switch, it may be easier to swap the trip-wires between switches than move the coin acceptor/entry window. But be careful not to lose the tiny retaining clip/washer(s)

I've also added some plastic that encourages the coins towards the coin exit as my ST:TNG has three mechs that share an exit tunnel.

That's parts 'rationalisation' aka cost saving for you. Early System 11 games had separate entry and exit apertures for whichever number of slots were used in the territory they were built for. This meant having doors with differing numbers of openings punched out, so the doors of the later games have the three entry openings combined and one central reject outlet. Differences in the number of chutes used are allowed for by the entry bezel, which allows or blanks the three entries as required.

'Classic' Stern games for the u.k. usually had 10 pence on the left chute, and 50 pence on the right chute. The old 50 pence was a big, awkward coin to have turn sideways to reach the central outlet. Bally must've thought about that - their games used to have 50 pence on the centre chute.
