Probably an arcade edition later on, I’ve got space issues and not ready to let anything go yet. Stern’s slow code releases are slowing down my rotations!

They’re making the CE’s first I think then probably wizard so guessing it’ll be a while for arcades anyway.

I’ve ordered the CE, prefer the art blades on the other versions, but everything else on the CE is stunning. We have a HP themed games room, with minalima wallpaper, this will be the jewel in the crown.

Sounds like you didn’t have a choice, the CE will look amazing in that space!

I’m still torn but I think I’m leaning towards the Wizard edition. I prefer the art blades and apron, and I think the darker colour shifting armour will look better from the playing position given the darker tones of the playfield. I’m also not really into toppers, and I’m not convinced by the one on the CE.



The only thing holding me back is the sparkle on the CE playfield, the backglass and how stunning it looks from the sides… but no matter where I put I won’t be able to have both sides on show.

Only big negative for me is topper on the Wizard. I suppose it's easily removed ? Someone will surely come up with something.

With the impending house move, I have decided to be sensible and wait to play one.

It looks stunning and they have done a great job, but the code looks, probably as expected for a JJP, very multiball heavy.

I am looking forward to playing one and hopefully owning in the future.

Does anyone know when the CE orders close?

JJP have a bit of history of games that look absolutely incredible at first, GnR, Wonka etc but they don't always stand up quite so well when played. Powder dry might be a good idea?!

This but also I found the sfx and narration over the top. Milk Silk is a fantastic voice actor but I want to hear the movies and the music to build the atmosphere and make me feel like I'm playing through the scenes and less of the pinball sfxs and instructions. Video played through 5 movie modes and I didn't really feel like it was a story working through them. Maybe it feels more immersive in person.

I think it's a hit for anyone who usually likes JJP games.

Good question. If there is no s/w control, you could probably add a switch to turn them off and on.

Unboxing gameplay vid and topper vid ( CE ) on YT ( Pinball Lover ) Gets better the more you see. Fast play when the ball is released. Quicker than most JJP games. They have got next to nothing wrong with this game. Must be a big hit.

I think it looks amazing, I never thought I would want Potter more than DnD as that’s the pin I was planning of owning next.

Considering the code is at 00.70P I think it looks, plays and sounds incredible.

Yeah the topper, art blades and apron on the CE are making the decision difficult. Love the cab art but I think from a player POV I prefer the look of the Wizard.

In that case Guy go for the arcade version. You could powder coat everything in something other than the prismatic cosmos which they are offering, choose your own art blades that are bound to be offered, throw in a shaker and still be a significant amount of cash better off. Eduardo will be doing a mirror back glass I'm sure also.
