Jaws! By Stern… We’re going to need a bigger games room !

It does appear to be premium only which I am surprised at, so maybe could be as desirable as Godzilla 70th.

Jaws slowly grew on me to be one of my top rated games now, can play a bit long but that’s really its only negative imo.

Might be convinced to upgrade from my pro depending on how the 50th looks. Either way looking forward to the code update that hopefully comes with the release.
 
Pretty simple art work but I like it better then all the cornerstone releases this one looks like JAWS! The cornerstones always had that great white shark/deep blue sea vibe with the over aggressive shark artwork.

White armour might look better though on this one then the red.
 
Just read the code notes. Reads like to get to the final wizard mode you just have to do jaws mb x3, other stuff is optional extras. Not sure how to feel about that, great to have a choice on how much to do but I thought it would be a final, super challenging to get to mode.
 
Can't imagine any LE buyers will be too bothered by that but I really like the cabinet decals.

The code updates sound very interesting.

Jaws has become pretty much my favourite game over the past few months. It's so addictive and the shots are very well placed . . . it even got me using Insider Connected.

Yeah I think this version with art blades and white armour might be the way to go. I like that this one is classic film poster all round
 
What's the feeling regarding Pro vs Prem on this? I kinda feel the shark and the Orca are important? I'm sure every Pro owner claims it flows better but what's the consensus if there is one?

I've got a pro, I'd like the drop targets and pop up shark but I'm unsure on the upper playfield as I'm not usually a fan of them. Code is fantastic though so either way you'd be getting a great game. You also get 1 more EB on the prem, the wheel awards and now an extra mini wiz mode that isn't on the pro so it's not just playfield differences.

If I didn't have the pro already and could afford the 50th, that's probably what I'd get now
 
Wish I'd ordered the pro when they were £7500.

I'm not sure I would ever buy a NIB prem or LE, simply because JJP and Stern have no qualms in releasing a better version 12months later and shafting the original buyers. Buy 2 years old, save £3k and you minimise the depreciation at that point.

The pro isn’t a patch on the premium/le

I might be mistaken but I think only the very first batch of pros were 7.5. You would have had to wait 18 months for 1.0 code! I bought 8 months after it was released and still felt the wait was too long sometimes.
 
I really like this version. I think the artwork has finally matched the table.
I don't mind the red armour but I do like the white to be fair.

I only I had the money...

It was posted over on Pinside that the translite is holographic/lenticular, no idea if it is just relaying it.

Translites/backglasses are of no issue, there’s plenty of guys making mirrored glasses now, you can get a pretty sweet looking JAWS mirrored glasses like the LE for your pro/prem.

I've got the Premium Andy and I actually like the difference between hitting the boat and the shark.

The drop targets are better as Fran said and I actually quite like the upper PF (mainly because I can hit the shots when needed).

That said, the best moment in the game remains the sharks fin coming up and the pro has that.

I'm possibly on my own here but this is my favourite Elwin pin. Is it a better shooter than Godzilla? Probably not. But the theme, move clips, integration and shark hunting element with the fishing reel make it a more enjoyable overall package for me.

Cheers man, interesting. It's the only Elwin I'm yet to play having owned all but one of the others. The theme as you say is elite. Thinking I might get one..
