Didn’t want to order, if the site is old.
When did the last person order?
I see he is a member here but with no posts in recent times..

Anyone selling one?

Wanting it for BTTF

*I'll add Pinsound is NOT compatible with this era Data East, before multiple people say how awful the Tilt solution is and just buy PS

I think they are working on this at the moment not currently out though lots of new and exciting products coming from them soon though

I think I have a working TiltAudio - bought it for my WH2O, but never ended up installing it (and machine has moved on).

Let me see if I can find it - if it is of any interest/use to you?

Can you still get the activation/registration numbers from Steve45 who started the project?
They are less than 10 euro but I heard someone waiting A LONG TIME for one.
Just wondered if it had improved.

Unfortunately not :(

I will update here some progress when it happens,
I have a 20 month and a new born... so hard to find a moment,
Also I have been building my new sim racing rig.

I was pondering on this 10 min ago and then seen a email about your notification

Sixth sense

Anyhow, just not had chance to do anything with it.

I’m in Darlington so just seen that your only 10-20 min down the road?

What’s your soldering skills like?

Hi,

Basic skills but would be ok to do some through hole soldering. From what I can tell, looking at the website, it looks more laborious than difficult (famous last words). At least there's no SMD/flow soldering work. Never used a Pi - hopefully that wouldn't be too difficult.

I'm just down the road in one of the villages near Northallerton.

Just got this off Pinsound's website.

Again - I will say this again.....

If your game is on this list now - buy a pinsound!

A load of games have been added.

The Tilt Audio really is a poor mans Pinsound. Serviced a couple of machines with people using these and a lot of people say 'its good for the money' if you are willing to put up with it not quite working right.

Also seen a few people saying they are waiting a while to get registration license codes......

I tried Tiltaudio. I will never again buy anything from Steve.

Parts missing on delivery, where replacements were supposedly sent but never arrived.
Board updates every few weeks with issues on older boards never actually fixed.
Support where if you asked a simple question you were hit with the attitude that you were stupid.

The guy could come out with the best mod in the world - i would never touch it.

@Paul Think he was one of the original designers of Pin2DMD.
Its a shame he made so many versions of Tiltaudio.
I did manage to get a working version on a T2 that did seem stable.
A lot of messing around and debugging problems with him at the time.

Explains why i only have one then :D

To be fair, the design now is probably completely indestinguishable. I remember his (was it?) STM32 Pin2dmd equivalent. Again total disaster, and again the board design changed every couple of months.
I'm all for regular upgrades, however issues on the older boards were never really "fixed"...
