I'm ashamed to say that I've not played (or had time to play) any pinball in at least two months. I'm curious, how often do you play your machines?
Absolutely mate. Whatever keeps you interested is the way to go. I briefly owned an old Williams Phoenix. I used to shun the old games but I really enjoyed playing it. The subtle little strategies like lighting the spinner and getting bonus multipliers lit was fun.Strange isn't it, I have got rid of all my Sterns (with the exception of Sopranos) as I got bored of the endless "deep" rules and have gone back to the FUN Bally-Williams-Data East's Currently I have 1 Stern, 1 Gottlieb, 5 Data East's and 20 Bally Williams (system 9 to WPC95) and I have never been happier with my collection.
Just goes to show, different strokes etc

Yeah if you don't have the time, you don't have the time. Been times I've done late nights all week and have an early finish and you just want to spend the time doing something else. Only means you enjoy them more when you come back to them. For me I should say, its not a question of rulesets, Bally/Williams/Gottlieb/Stern etc I just don't have the time. Priorities change. Working and commuting from 8am untill 7pm then working on my own stuff from 8:15pm until 1am. On the one night of the week I have free I'd rather watch a couple of movies. Feel bad that the pins are down there gathering dust
Welcome backNot very often. At the moment my playing is likely to be when we have guests over. I built the log cabin to protect them whilst we were renovating started on the house but by putting them away from the house, I never get a cheeky game whilst waiting for The Boss to put her shoes on etc. If I work from home in the same cabin I do sometimes turn one on at the end of a shift but can feel guilty as there are so many jobs to do elsewhere.
I don't plan to sell them as I trust my pinball fire will come back at some point.
Usually daily whilst my tea is cooking. I save WOZ for other occasions as the longish ball times result in a ruined dinner .
Welcome back
Not very often
Transformers always draws me back for more.Been playing every day for 30 to 60 mins..... Transformers is doing my head in.
