It's one of life's mysteries. You buy a machine that has never had a problem in its short life, put it in a van for a few hours, then it all goes pear shaped. But, it's giving me an opportunity to learn about Spike 2
Machine was playing fine, then wouldn't boot. Reseated the SD card, this all sorted. Upgraded to the latest s/w, all good for a couple of games. then it developed an intermittent (1 in every 5 actuations) delay on the flippers, and when the left flipper was held up , the right flipper would drop (not vice versa though). Reseated all the connectors on Node Board 8. Now, the issue has morphed and the lower left flipper not working at all now in game (right flipper, upper left flipper working fine). All flippers working fine in coil test, both flipper buttons working fine in switch test.
So, I've run out of logic. If the coils test works, then it might indicate a switch issue. But if the switch tests work, doesn't that rule out a switch issue?
