Flipper removal - 1972 Gottlieb

I've removed the grub screws, I thought it would just drop out, but it doesn't.

Sure, it's probably gummed up with dried grease. What's the worst that could happen?

Does the flipper bat rotate still?
 
Mmm I think I'll send them to the rechroming place, have the rust professionally removed.
 
Hi, Spanky,

If you're going to seek any parts for this flipper assembly, be aware that it's probably not the original Gottlieb unit - it looks like a Bally unit to me, the type found on their early solid-state games (and probably the late e/m ones too). Gottlieb didn't bring out a 'modular' flipper until their very last e/m games.
