Did you try a sharp hammer blow?
Sure, it's probably gummed up with dried grease. What's the worst that could happen?

Bit of wet n dry followed up with some polish and they shall live again

If you're going to seek any parts for this flipper assembly, be aware that it's probably not the original Gottlieb unit - it looks like a Bally unit to me, the type found on their early solid-state games (and probably the late e/m ones too). Gottlieb didn't bring out a 'modular' flipper until their very last e/m games.
