Electric Circus Celebration, Farewell Tournament - SUMMER SENSATION - Sunday 30th July

Sad I missed out this weekend but glad I made it up there at least once. Farewell to one of the best pinball venues in the UK ever. Hope all the beer got drunk.

thankyou everyone

work just beginning tomorrow for some of us so will comment later

those who love pinball get down/up to TILT.

Will be a phenomenal line up of machines .

Older machines and "duplicates" will be scattered for a while BUT very few have been sold so who knows that the future brings.

see you all at Pinfest

and I came third in a major comp. Woop

Thanks everyone for the great turnout and great times yesterday. I think it was a fantastic send off for EC and some really entertaining pinball throughout.

Congrats to my bro Yuen for his victory and Craig, Steve and Nathan for what was a fantastic final 4 series!

Well done to everyone, was a load of fun! Results have been submitted to IFPA, had to take out a loan to pay for it...!

What a great send off that was yesterday. Awesome to see such a fab turnout for the last day.

Such a shame it had to colme to an end but hopefully the end of the current EC will be the start of a new chapter and adventure for Steve in the pinball world.

Well done Gene for running the comp again and congrats to Yuen, Craig, Nathan and especially Steve (very fitting that he made the final). Having come up against Craig a few times during the comp, he was on fire yesterday and definitely deserved his place in the final espcially the score of over 7m againts Josh on Swords of Fury in the semi which would have beaten anyone.

Thank you Steve, Gene and congrats to everyone. Great atmosphere and fun!
Please see pictures attached. Take your pick!

Fantastic event, thanks so much to Steve for providing us with a truly amazing location that will be sorely missed by the community.

Thanks to Gene for running a brilliant tournament, I loved every minute. Yuen thoroughly deserved the win, being top qualifier and really showing up in the finals as well. I would have bitten your hand off if someone had offered me 675 million on that very challenging GZ, so for Yeun to chase me down and beat me with a ball to spare on that final game was extremely impressive. Fantastic finals, fantastic event and day.

Cheers, Craig

Wow, impressive scores in comp. What were the scores on first game, assume Turtles?

Thanks for a brilliant day and tournament @steve brum and @Genotime. Bittersweet but fitting sendoff - amazing to see the place packed with players from all areas of the country and all levels really enjoying it and into it with a great atmosphere throughout.

This Nathan Garwood (aka "The Real Deal") is some player - 10 straight wins to finish qualifying and another final just 1 week after being top qualifer at the Funland tournament... ! Brilliant stuff from someone in his first "proper" year of competitive pinball.

From a personal standpoint I rode my luck at times - always an honour to play alongside the world class @roadshow16 who pushed me to the limit in what was hopefully an exciting final for those watching!

@robotgreg - I had 18M on TMNT after 2 balls, Craig had 8M after 2 but then got all the way to Team up MB and beyond on his last ball but finished a few million short before he was able to access his MBs again.

On Addams in Game 2, Steve and Nate managed to reverse the game 1 positions exactly - with Steve coming alive with a huge ball 3 to take the lead! I had to get another 15-20M to avoid last and win the tournament- but I failed and took last... setting up a tense finish on GZ where Craig and I both battled King Ghidorah and cashed out for big collects...

All the best for the future Steve (and congrats on 3rd place in the tournament!) - hope everything goes well in the partnership with Kirk and event/pinball Hype man support from Genotime!

I would like to add my thanks... It was lovely to see everyone and it didn't disappoint with a great day of pinball. It's such a shame that the UK is loosing one of it's largest pinball clubs.

Good luck for the future Steve, Courtney and everyone else who chips in behind the scenes.

Had an incredible time, was quite surreal getting through to the final with the big leagues, and hugely enjoyable watching everyone's strategies play out! I was happy in the end with my Addams Family choice but wasn't expecting it to flip the board the way it did.

Huge thankyou to Steve and the whole team for the day and also for Electric Circus - I only made it there twice but it was such a good club with a huge variety of games, all the very best of luck for what comes next :)
