I bought two items on eBay. One was damaged in transit. The seller was awkward about it. He was rather aggressive on the phone demanding that I left feedback before he would refund any money.

I got tired of it, didn't like receiving the multiple inbound calls from the seller so I left honest negative feedback.

This morning I received a partial refund and my feedback has been deleted.

I received no correspondence from eBay about this. Just the Paypal refund.

Does anyone know how this feedback deletion system works ? Noone at Ebay or Paypal asked me whether I was happy with the partial refund

Something like. Bought 2 items. 1 smashed in transit. Buyers beware.

Given the guy phoned me three times yesterday, once after 10pm last night, I thought I was being quite restrained.

From my recent Ebay experience hardly anyone bothers with Feedback now anyway so to be ringing up people demanding it is just the actions of a f*cking idiot.

Maybe its the hot weather but I have had it up to here with utter dickheads in the world. Several examples this week.

I sent something out to someone - Hermes managed to deliver it smashed despite my decent packaging ........ got a very abrupt rude message from the buyer. Which ****ed me off but I instantly refunded cos I couldn't be bothered with the hassle , cheap item anyway. Not a peep from the buyer, not so much as a cheers for sorting that quickly, I know it wasn't your fault. Rude , illiterate bastards everywhere these days.

Ventured into the world of Facebook Marketplace recently to sell a couple of things ........... That was a mistake.

Dear god ...I thought you came across morons on ebay sometimes but the inane retarded communications are beyond belief. People who can barely string a sentence together, idiots asking questions like how far is Brighton from London , people wanting their friends brothers mate to maybe come next Tuesday week to collect or something insane that then didn't work out anyway, someone messaging in middle of the night desperate for it then can't apparently ever get out of work on time to actually come and get it.

Hell is other people.

Shame that asteroid missed the earth recently.

Peace out

Ah, Facebook marketplace. The only thing I've ever had is a series of people asking if the item is still available. That's literally it.

I sometimes give stuff away instead of selling. It is just so much easier as no question is usually asked.
But I still get some people asking if I can deliver it too. The cheek of some people.

I asked a guy selling a bass guitar if it came with the strap and stand shown in the photo. Instead of saying no it doesn't he just altered the advert to say "STRAP AND STAND NOT INCLUDED". Needless to say it's still for sale 3 weeks later....tw@

The worst thing you can do is give stuff away for free because it really brings out the ******* in people. They have no investment and no incentive to turn up and collect. The cheaper it is the cheaper people act.

i was threatened once by a seller after I won an item he sent me a message saying if he did not receive positive feedback after he posted the item,he would come round and pay me a visit,he either lived in France or posted my brake pads whilst he was on holiday there:cuckoo:

Actually having the same issue with something I bought from a guy in France. Every 2 days he messages me for feedback and threating me .so I left negative feedback for his trouble lol

Lower the price more the hassle

Expensive items are desirable so folks make the effort

Plus the transport is the same whether a 6k pin or 20 quid fruit machine and cheap skates expect free delivery

This is why 100s of fruits are scrapped

Ebay is a law in itself.
They do what they want.
I sold a gamecube to someone who decided that they wanted it cheaper.
Complained that one game did not work which it did when i had it.
Asked for a reduction and partial refund which I declined to give.
Yep it became a bit heated and we both had a few harsh words :)

He kept it for 29 days then opened up a returns which I denied .
Ebay decided that he could as it was before 30 dyas
so I had to give him a complete refund and pay for the return.
He trashed all the games and the gamecube case.
Ebay done nothing.

I had it when I sold the much hyped star wars battle front on amazon. I had played it once decided it was **** so put it for sale on amazon. So it was mint, some woman bought it for her son which he obviously thought the same and she tried to say it was damaged and wanted a refund. But I fought my case and they didn’t refund her lol. But if that was eBay she would of automatically got a refund no matter what I said
