One of the original postings said that info should be shared to avoid people bidding against each other and raising the price. It is exactly that which is illegal. I really do not care, but the site admin might want to watch their backs

I am the site owner, and I do apologise, however that's a complete load of crap! We're all not in cohorts and even if we were it makes no difference....

If we were all shill bidding each others items then maybe you would have a point, however even that aint illegal, as this isn't eBay...!!

Please don't come and try to stir things up... I can guarantee that you wont win...

Did you buy it? I noticed its playfield was better than most for sale at twice the price. Another great buy!

Yes mate I did. I have most of it up and running. The playfield condition and cab artwork is the best I've seen on a SW in a long time :)

I'll start a restore thread ;)

Look forward to some pictures on the resto thread.

Is that the one that had the power supply issue? I nearly bid but thought that power supply thing was beyond me. I look forward to the shop log

Nice to see the black hole has been updated; I checked earlier and he had that picture but had it described as a 'Black Knight'.

Edit: My mistake - it's the last one listed above but for some reason he's got the wrong photo up.

F*cking hell, I went on holiday for a couple of days, come back and it's all gone mental in this thread :) I knew you lot were a bunch of dodgy buggers with your dubious "helping out your friends" practices ;) :D Nothing to do with me your honour, you've got the wrong man

Edit: Graham, I'm joking ;)

I confess, this week I bid 1k on a TZ that I didn't want, (just got fed up with listings ending early) hoping to reduce the chances of that happening, really wanted to see the end result.

It's a fair cop guvnor, you can arrrest me now.....

BW100 is certainly different, but I don't like the gameplay personally so I wouldn't want one. Each to his own though, keeps it all interesting.

Check out a video of it on YouTube

Its certainly a mad design - from Dennis Nordman - and one of the few games where the player starts with a multiball situation - 3 balls from the off ! :) I just remember it actually being bl**dy hard to play with all the different playfields and little ramps and stuff.

Blackwater 100 - not seen one of these before, looks rather fun if you appreciate the theme.

It's a weird one for sure, would rather have a Banzai Run though :) BAAAAANNNNNNNNZZZZZZAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Looks quite cool

Not wanting to be part of a ring that effects pricing I will add that I have previously seen them for significantly less. ;)

Does anyone on the forum have one that I can play one day to see if it is a game I want?

The Totan on ebay right now was my old machine. Jonathan on here also owned it, then went to Marc Evans. Someone somewhere down that line suddenly decided it was worth 4K. LOL.

Wow... You gang of evil pinball auction-fiddling master criminals are proper dodgy, and he's on to you, you mark my words..

This now added to the Silverball Mania eBay auction:

"On 15-Nov-13 at 17:56:15 GMT, seller added the following information:
Somebody has removed a bid claiming that they entered an incorrect amount, although it took 2 days for them to realise this. Unfortunately this means that they have exposed the bid that the underbidder had entered as a maximum amount which gives a really unfair advantage to them if it comes to last minute bidding. It may of course have been done in all innocence, but nonetheless the underbidders amount has been unfairly exposed.

I am loathe to cancel the item because there are more than 50 watchers, but have asked advice from Ebay as to the options in this situation".

Good lord!! eBay is eBay. If someone doesn't like how it operates I suggest they don't use it!

Ask a sensible price for the machine on any forum, auction site or even a newsagent's window and it will sell.

He said as much on the UK pinball group. Talk about thinking the world is trying to get you... it happens all the time... get over it...

No wonder there's so many watchers - his jobsworth attitude has attracted a lot of attention and most likely put potential bidders off - hence the cancelled bid.

How not to sell a pinball - ha ha
