Ooooh ....always fancied Skylab. I like space sh*t. Might keep an eye on that.

I picked up the Corvette and it's in great condition, fully working and needed no work. I snapped it up at that price, especially as I knew the seller and had played the table previously.

Theres been a few decently priced sales recently:

NBA JAM - Stern = £1676
Austin Powers - Stern = £1500
Playboy - Stern = £1470
Playboy - Stern = £1370
Revenge from mars - Bally = £1400
Road show - Williams = £999
Road show - Williams = £1030
Road show - Williams = £970
Road show - Williams = £1000
Corvette - Bally = £1019
Terminator 2 - Williams = £1000
Terminator 2 - Williams = £970
NBA fastbreak - Williams = £1000
Twister - Sega = £870
Apollo 13 - Sega = £875
Black Rose - Bally = £820
Mario Bros - Gottleib = £774
Tales from the crypt - Data East = £770
Hook - Data East = £702
Striker Extreme - Stern = £695
Hurricane - Williams = £620
Hurricane - Williams = £440
Black Knight - Williams = £493

My guess would be that each and every one of them would need varying amounts of money, time and effort spending on them but its good to see not all machines are massively overpriced.

Is that Montu's Corvette you grabbed Nibsy?

I played it when I went over to his a few weeks back. Played lovely and plenty to do for a reasonable price. I'm out of the market for now but was sorely tempted.

Probably shilling the price up but pushing it too far and ending up with him being the winning bidder?

The timewaster is himself and he just wants to get top dollar for his (non-working) table. :(

What is this wassack playin at?

First listing - timewaster.
Second listing - didnt seams to sell but plenty of bids.
Third listing - 700 (insert 4 letter word) quid!

Its the classic 'Pull at 12 hours if I don't get my money' scenario. The guy has probably spent a few quid on it and doesn't want to lose out. Shame he bought a table thats not exactly known for its desirability. That said, with lots of new buyers coming into the market the desirability levels of lots of previously unloved machines may change quite a bit, affecting their ebay 'values' as a result.

Went to look at the Six Million Dollar Man machine on eBay this evening. Info below incase anyone is interested in bidding.

GI lights up, score displays flicker (do not come on) and sounds like a solenoid is stuck on. Backglass is good, no visible hacks on the boards and main cabinet looks ok except for the fade. The rear of the backbox has some water damage and is delaminating. I didn't lift the playfield.

Playfield has had some extensive repairs which are quite poor around the inserts above the flippers, and has planking. Main reason I won't be bidding.

:)Does have a nice topper though , and they say A picture paints a thousand words, or was it who loves ya baby ?
Some Greek philosopher from the 70's

lol - nice topper...??? :D That was the freebie in the star trek magazine a few months ago :D It's better as Playfield Decor (As some here have done!!)

Dave always does a cracking job on his refurb pins and this is no exception.
Stunning work and like Chris has already said , you won't find a nicer one.
