My knowledge of these early Ballys is poor to say the least. Is that a good deal? Nice bedroom though;-)

Is it just me or has RFM become far more sort after over the last 12 months? Lots seem to be cropping up for crazy money. Maybe it's for people who can't afford AFM (That's pretty much why I bought my Revenge). I would have pegged it as a sub 1.5k machine (by quite some way) but lots of, shall we say, ambitious BIN prices of 2k+.

Interested to see what the bidding goes for on the new one (and the TOTAN bidding is already over 2k - who is it who doesn't wait until the last few mins?)

I think with big name titles it makes little difference when you bid. You aren't gonna get a bargain on ebay. Some people would rather just place their marker and see how it goes.

There is an argument that bidding it up to a certain level can actually put off some last minute bidders. I know once I see an auction pass my acceptable price I lose interest, yet if it is sat low still near the end am far more tempted to get involved in the last minute bidding mania ...which as we know can be dangerous as its easy to get caught up in the moment and pay more than you wanted to.

was looking at an AP13 on ebay.

Was hoping to bid but the bidders seemed a little strange. I then noticed that the very same 2 bidders have bid on most of his auctions for some time.

Guess it will see ebay for a third time.
Why cant people just add a reserve? A few pence of costs really worth putting buyers off with dodgy bidding?

Heres the other pin on at the same time. Check the bidders:

Pretty sure it's a different seller. £1200 for a RS isn't a bad price (Even if I hate the machine!)

Had a bit of correspondence with the seller as the location was quite close to my in-laws but the logistics was too much of a PITA to bother about buying two pins I didn't really care about.

It's a different seller. The guy JMP got his TOM from was down in Hove IIRC.

But the Apollo 13 listing looked really shady. Every effort was made to give as little info as possible which t o my mind is never a good sign.

Deja vu anyone? Could have sworn this Time Machine being sold by someone in Blackpool had sold a few weeks back, and sure enough a few searches show that it sold for £640. What's odd is that the winning bid was a buyer with a very good feedback so they're either shill bidding using established accounts or the buyer realised he'd been duped maybe?
