Didn't the one Andy PM was selling on behalf of someone else make about 5.5k on ebay late last year? this one is in a different league compared to that one so IMO it's fair game, loads of work gone into it, new PF, pf swaps take silly amount of man hours, TBH even though it seems like a lot of money (OK, it is a lot of money) it is way better value than what has gone before for silly money, would much rather pay 6k for this one than 5k for the other one.

I have only been in this game for three months and I can see some crazy prices. Is there some sort of seasonal effect, coupled with bad weather? :suspect:

This is the grab a bargain time of year when everyone is focusing on the great outdoors rather than pinball..............watch out Aug onwards when open season starts

finite amount of people who want to but a machine

Won't be butting any of my machines any time soon although the billy Bob Thornton nudge-thrust technique is go.

Wow - Thats around £1.5k more than they normally go for (well ok, maybe 1250 more) - Maybe i should do mine up and buy two others with the proceeds...

Mental....

Hoofed mine within a week, beats the TZ on depression factor, mintish with Bill Ung kit (way better cab and coin door than the one just gone) £1200, WOW when I switched it on but grew into a pensioner within days.

Same. Had mine for about a month before it went out the door. It sat un played for most of that! There may be lots of animation but it doesn't stop the fact that it's the same shot over and over!!

Seperate bike thread anyone ??

There have been a few different titles selling for a fair price over the past week or two and all have gone the full term on auction.

So if you want to pay a fair price for a pinball machine look out for the auction listings.

Unless its one of our favorite shill bidding listings. And we all know who those are don't we boys and girls.

There was quite a nice looking RS that was listed with a BIN of 1,150 that also went earlier today. Was snapped up within 20 mins or so mind

How much do you guys reckon would be a fair price for this AFM? It's my 'dream pin' but would also be my first pin. I'm based in Southampton so pretty close. Would love a machine that I can buy and cherish, might this be it? Only problem would be finding the space to actually put the thing in the house...

Offer him £4k cash in hand and see if he bites. He says he wanted £3.5k for it but it could end up nearer £5k if the auction runs to the end

The bidding is starting at £2k which means they expect more. Everything I was told said these were available at around the £1k mark yet I just can't find one. Great machine and I want one but I can be patient, honestly, I can.

WH20 were 1k ish last year but TAFs were 2k last yr and TOMs were below 2k. Wasnt expecting these kind of moves as TAFs seem to be nearer 3k which means I have given up looking. So, who knows?? Supply and demand and all that. And Daventry still to come:rolleyes:
