how many DMD's can you name that you'd consider sub £1k games today?
Not many but most if not all of them are Gottlieb's. All of the other manufacturers games of that era seem to have pushed past the £1K mark now

NIB prices have made older games look 'cheap' and also there seems to be increased demand due to a lot of new people in the hobby. Supply being limited, only one way for prices to go....Are we seeing the effects of Sterling here ?
Brexit meant gbp:usd fell
So new sterns went up in £ terms
Top end bally williams followed the new sterns
This dragged up the whole market ?
It's not just pinball machines that are going through the roof. Classic car prices have been going absolutely stratospheric for the last few years. It seems that people are viewing these things as a safer place to put their money than in the banks.
The scary thing is, if you take the classic car market as an example, there isn't any limiting effect from 'NIB'. Taking the Porsche 911 as an example, you could have bought a late 80's/early 90's water cooled 911 for £15k only a few years ago......now even high mileage examples are selling for literally more than a brand new 911.
Yes I bought it .....suppose to be all working but when travelling the 4.5 hours to pick up it wouldn't play....no score or sound etc.....however sorted it now and will be up for sale shortly ....some new rubbers., cleaned playfield, pop bumper coil, remote battery pack fitted etc....now.plays and looks well ....Went for £741.....anyone on here?
It still does !A year ago this would have seemed expensive.

lesser fully working ones maybe? magnet fault can be a right PITA
They're just getting to the point where you might aswell just buy a new stern machine that you know is going to be 'mint'
Anybody know what the machine is to the left of afm?Thats the seller I got warned about with a TOM a while back. I recognise the gratuitous underwear shots.

It's Rob Zombie, I have heard the same about him. Bloody expensive mb and the playfield doesn't look great either. Funny was offered that bride for £4500 and now look at the price of it. See why he doesn't even try and sell on the forum.Anybody know what the machine is to the left of afm?
