So the doctors been in the house for a while now albeit Tombstoned while I found some space, but now TFTC has gone to its new home its a good time as any to get it ready for NERG 23.
The intention here is a simple clean up to get it looking presentable and at the same time add a full set of my protectors to bling it up a little. The more important task here is making sure it can hold up to the weekend and it plays trouble free.
First job was to strip the PF and chuck all the rubbers, bulbs and all of the starposts which the majority were damaged or just beyond redemption. It also turns out that almost every nut, bolt and screw I’ve removed are inflicted with the dreaded white rust so unless any of them are unobtanium they will all be replaced from my spares store or bought new.
I haven’t yet decided if I will be doing rebuilds on pops and flippers until I get it back playable and fully stress tested by spending a few hours actually playing it.
Day1
Strip and quick once over with @philpalmer ’s good old foam cleaner which always works a treat.
Before

Foam Time

After and what a difference already

Off to a great start but will be at least a few days before I can fit in a little Novus Workout for those deep down stubborn stains.
