Folks,
I've got a load of DMD's that I've replaced with colordmd's that I'm selling at Pinfest. All of them are working with no lines out.

if you want one let me know - they are all £50 each. Mix of Williams and Stern - Stern of various eras (note not selling the red plexiglass).

I have a WMS DMD on reserve with Neil, but if people need it for their games over mine to make it pretty, you can open my spot up.
 
ok I suspect I'm now sold out but let me go count what I have and match it up.

6 Stern LEDs
one cherry dmd
2 vishay
1 babcock


@James -> 1x Cherry
@mission65 -> 2x Stern LEDS
@PUP -> 1x Cherry
@Arv ->1x Babcock
@pinballtoys -> 2x stern leds
@jagman -> Stern LED
@kevlar -> Vishay

actually not sure about this - vishay one is from a stern - will it work in a WMS?
 
ok just found more! LOL

Marco's suggest that its not LED. (@jagman didn't know so I looked it up there).

Jagman, can you take a picture please take of the translate and take a picture of the DMD, better safe than sorry!

Ok fair do’s, I was under the impression that WPT was the last stern plasma, and from POTC onwards all LEDs but guess there may have been some exceptions.

My Tron is led (as is @kevlar ’s?)

I couldn't find specifics but we have discussed this before, and @chris b mentioned that Tron LE's here were US machine's hence the plasma screen ( so UK had LED and US had plasma )...or something like that.
 
Maybe Stern were forced to comply with the low voltage directive in Europe which came in about the same time as POTC was released, makes sense now as I remember the fruit machine’s PSU’s all changed to lower voltages around that time too.
 
Good news is I have a spare LED one anyway.
