I didn't realise there were so many Diners in the community... and not one person will sell to Claire for money and cheesecake😳
 
You can play only play TAF ,Diner and dr who as all the other machines have escort parts or surf side parts resting on them😉

Yeah. Speaking as someone in a related situation, there's a real tendency for these threads to attract posts of the nature of "What a great taste in pins you have. I have an XXXX, but it's nailed to the floor. Paid 50p for it ten years ago and wouldn't sell it for a Medieval Madness-TZ-Godzilla LE combo. Good luck finding one tho'."

It's like "Yeah, great for you... not so helpful for me" :mad::eek:
 
Hi Claire, as you well know, I have both Diner and WCS. New pins will arrive during this month so something has to go. These two are one of my favourites. Please send me an offer for both and I will think about it. If the offer is right I can let one of them go. A swap with something that you have would work as we’ll probably. I might change my mind as I never though that I can part with either of them.

Chris has (understandably!) decided to keep both his Diner and WCS as they are his favourites too. So I'm still on the look out for either game. ;)

In other news, my 2022 Diner World Tour started last night, visiting @Spandangler's Diner (oh, and he has a few other nice games too 😂).

10/10 beautiful example of a Diner (even if Boris is a bit dodgy!) and great company, would play again!

Played this one today @Lecari in the Pinball Palace Orlando, played better than most of the games in there. Playfield very worn and areas of mylar looking greyed needs some TLC. The pay per play games inside the Dezerland arcade like TOM,AFM, TWD, Kiss etc were in much nicer condition compared with the free play Palace pins.
 
I believe the ones with the yellow wireform have a different playfield manufacturer or are diamond plate? There's a significance to it at least.
 
The one in Orlando seems to have been around; at first I thought it was a German spec (from the warning sticker on the door), but it has French coin entry labels.

Those blue legs suit Bally Star Trek.
 
@Dave Playman is my hero - he managed to persuade the Black Knight seller to part with his Diner as well, rather than list it on eBay, knowing how much I want one.

Cannot thank him enough for his quick thinking, and his negotiation skills - and his kindness for thinking of me!

It needs some work (it's not working at the moment - some board damage, but that's not my area!) but we got it for a great price and conveniently, David has two weeks off... 😂

I honestly never thought this morning that I'd be buying and receiving a Diner today!
 
That’s an awesome pinball story @Lecari.
Hopefully it won’t be too long before you get it up and running followed by getting everyone’s orders ready.
Some great humor in that game.
