Agreed, it was expensive but I went with my wife as a birthday treat and drove there and back.
Seeing all those bands with just 15 minutes break in between was "priceless".
I mean, Chad Smith, Tom Morello, Steve Tyler and Ronnie Wood playing Walk This Way?
Not to mention Pantera, Mastodon, Gojira.
Glad it was in Aston Villa and not in LA.

That's me and my sore feet done for a year!

Went to see Deftones 2 weeks ago and it was ok, but nowhere near this.
High Vis where great.

Oasis - P1ss bottle update

Was on BBC Radio 5 this morning, just before 9am. The reporter attended the Heaton Moor gig. Noted that even women (including the one stood behind him) are now filling bottles with urine.

Advised that the throwing of urine filled bottles was directed from the rear to the front. He advised that those in the VIP areas particularly at risk - so better to avoid the rear of the section.

I’m actually pretty impressed that any middle aged women could successfully pee into a small necked bottle.

On a similar note there was an article about how some dude had queued for 3 days for sabbath in order to make it to the barrier. My instant thoughts were how on earth will he keep his place there all days for a 12 hour gig without needing to go for a pee. I can barely make it through 2 hours.
