Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. By Spooky

Thank you for your positive contribution Jim you’ve fuelled my enthusiasm no end 🤣🤣🤣. Oh and you forgot TNA
Just talking reality. Big boy pants time.. Having been a spooky owner myself. Fomo, bull****… if like you say it’s a year or more to get one here. People will loose interest and move into the next thing so slots will open up anyway and those 2k deposits go by by..

Oh yeah and supporting loads of other people’s games when they go wrong..facts mate :)

How many spooky games have you owned or worked on before????

Oh yeah on TNA I don’t put that in as a spooky game as it was just assembled by them the design and insight was Scott with help from many others myself included..

Check the thanks list in the attract screen..

Game looks nice. Would have liked to seen more house, town model and graveyard in there though. Was expecting maybe graveyard town would be center playfield art.

Fomo can **** right off. Whatever . I’ll wait til they are 5k next year and get some spare driver boards in ready .. lol

The days of loosing 4.5k+ on unseen games are
You won’t get evil dead for £12k in a year or 3, and if anyone does move one on they’ll do it behind the scenes with people already talking with them on dibs ..beetlejuice will be exactly the same . Spooky have raised the bar massively on passion , sculpts, gameplay and their toppers are mind blowing compared to the offerings of stern and even Jjp …and the games are limited !

Be under no illusions:
ALL pinball machines will develop at fault at some point.
I would say determining which manufacturers machines are more prevalent to failing is based on anecdotal evidence rather than rigorous research (unless anyone can provide such information)
I've owned machines from five different manufacturers (no Spooky - yet) and they've all had problems at some point.
This looks a great machine and if you're lucky enough to own one, play it, enjoy it and if it goes wrong, fix it.
Have a great flippin' Sunday

How wonderful Jim, I didn’t know you’d worked on TNA il be sure to check that next time I switch it on.

In answer to your question, I do have spooky pins several of them in quite a large collection and they all at one time or another have problems and need tweaks, no manufacturer is perfect stern basically make a new game and have us all beta test it for problems then send our fix kits for us to fit ourselves.

Having said that though if we aren’t all here in this community rooting for all pinball manufacturers to keep pushing the boundary’s by doing better and bringing more fun to pinball by bringing our dream themes to life and championing them when they do do a good job then it’s time for people to perhaps look at a different hobby

I’m personally glad that the guys in the US that bring these brilliant boxes of light and fun to reality don’t base their motivations to do it everyday on the UK market and community right now because they would of given up looonng ago !

Sad really what this forum and community has become from where it was few years ago

I've got to say, whilst neither Evil Dead or Beetlejuice are big themes for me personally, the grandness of the games have got me excited about pinball again.

I'm curious to see what they do next but they have definitely created a buzz and a bit of renewed energy. There now seems to be genuine choice.

Too right, neither theme appeals to me, but can't deny what they have done, feels like BJ may be a bit like how people felt in 92 first seeing Addams.

Let's be real tho, this UK forum is WAY more positive and less tribal than the Pinside, most of our grumblings are valid, can you imagine the outrage if the Yanks missed out on the new Star Wars or had to pay 20% more for games like we do!

Yes pinside per se is an ego fest, but the general US community have a real buzz and excitement around these brilliant boutique games that are innovative, packed and offering incredible value compared to the stuff we’ve been seeing over the last few years , here the overall energy is let’s just be kind and say , lacklustre

I'm mostly a stern pro buyer and Beetlejuice isn't a theme for me anyway but I still get excited to see every new release from almost any company. It's always fun to see how different games can be with such a small space to work with. I think it's great how manufacturers are pushing each other to do better. As for the forum, I said the other day to someone that I miss how everyone use to talk on here but I think a lot of people just prefer their own groups now instead.

Happy for those that got one of these, I'm sure you're going to love it.

Having owned quite a few spookys

Alice cooper , TNA , Rick and Morty x 2 , Halloween and I currently own and am enjoying looney tunes . They have in my opinion just got better and better .. loony and TCM are heads and shoulders above Halloween and Rick and Morty in build quality and everything.. beetlejuice and evil dead look like they have gone even further.
I reckon spooky have finally managed to do what no one else has and are now a game made fully for the collector.
Stern and jjp will keep pumping out games for operators.
I can’t wait to get my BJ next year oh and my Beetlejuice 😆

I would say that DPX has also made a game fully for the collector with Alice.

Will have to wait and see in the next week or 2… we should have Alice being delivered
