Complete Bally Medusa - Playfield Cleanup

Looking fantastic. I don't need to at the moment but I realise I cant see how to replace the bulbs behind those translucent stand up targets. Any clues? I've been playing this solidly for the past couple of weeks since @pinballmania got it going. Isn't the artwork amazing?

@Jb3d It's a stunning machine. The lights at the top are a pain in the A**

the three at the back behind the targets are not the hardest to change. Lean over the machine with the playfield in the upright position whilst on the front lugs. There is a metal plate at each corner holding the red light bar on. Undo these plates, 2 screws each, and catch the light bar **UNPLUG IT FROM THE MAINS!!!** pull the lightbar away and towards the back of the machine and the three bulbs are on the lightbar.

The harder ones to change are the GI by the rear drop targets, same procedure and the A123B lights as you have to drop out the drop target bank, 7 screws to be able to get at them.

Hope that helps

Courtney

There is also another way ,and that is to also lift it on the front lugs ,put this time lower the playfield . Make a prop which goes under the playfield to the floor ,making sure the playfield does not touch the front of the cab ,I measured ,cut and used a piece of 2"X1" to do this

Looks terrific. Is this a repro or salvaged backglass ...looks very nice.
