Have you tried eBay? I got new locks for two of my Ballys on eBay. They're not unique pinball locks so you can get them anywhere

Thank you.

If you have any unfitted, could you measure one for me please, do they meet the measurements in the drawing above? The one in your link looks, a little short if i am honest. Like its Gottlieb cousin, it is being used to move a long bar across the top of the back box to stop the back glass being removed. So isn't just a simple moving lock. the length is needed to reach the mechanism.

i did look earlier today, but none look long enough. Unless you, or anyone on here has experience if using the modern lock, for the long back glass bar mech in these older Ballys?

Sorry but they are 10mm shorter.

I can't remember what size I used on my Gottlieb backbox when I replaced that and I can't get to it at the moment.

If you search for cam lock you should find some that will fit. I bought 30mm for Centaur and it worked fine

The cylinder dimensions seem standard but the lengths change. 30mm should work as the closest metric equivalent, the 3mm difference won't matter, the bar has a lot of flex in it.

All fitted and working. Anyone doing similar using these, would strongly advise you locktite the screw into the lock. If it falls off and the lock bar comes of the lock, it will be a sod to get into 😛

Thanks

This happened to my Centaur at Pinfest a few years ago. It wasn't packed up till Monday morning. The bar fell off and we couldn't pack it up, a few NLP guys including @Fantazia2 managed to thread thick cable ties through the vents and around the bar to pull it back. The cable ties are still there 😂
