Mike McPartling

I'm reluctantly selling my much loved and cared for, Bally Corvette Pinball. As you can see from the photo's, it is in excellent overall condition for a Pin that's nearly 24 years old. It has been well cared for and maintained and works as it should with no faults. The only thing to point out, is the right side rail has been slightly dented (see photo) when in transit. It has never bothered me but the new owner would easily rectify this if being fussy. Obviously it's not brand new, it was made in 1994, so it will have some slight ware marks but as you can see, it really is in fantastic condition for it's age.
The new owner will be more than happy with this Corvette Pin.

PLEASE NOTE - I have recently had Dave out from Pinballdaze to service it and fit some worn parts, flipper coil, plungers, flipper rubbers and bulbs. Just the general wear and tear items but at least the potential new owner will have added piece of mind.
Dave did comment on what fantastic overall condition the pin was in and has obviously been looked after and should really keep it...

I am open to offers, but they MUST BE OVER £3000....
Please e-mail me with any sensible offers or any questions that you may have.
You can also e-mail me at mickey.mac46@gmail.com.

I know how rare this Pinball is and it's value, so I will not be giving it away! .Liberty games has 1 for sale for £5995 and this is the only other one for sale in the UK.

Hi Mike,
If you are using the likes of Liberty Games as "it's Value" then unfortunately you are going to be very disappointed. Prices there are usually 100-300% above standard market value.
And also - They aren't THAT rare.
And you must name a price please. This isnt Ebay...
Thanks
Paul

Lol this is on eBay too right? Not worth more than 1.5K sadly!

Apologies Paul.
All has been rectified, sorry...
Mike

Think there are comments on this particular machine in another thread as been on ebay at a higher price, maybe @JMP can confirm as looks like you are using some of his pictures

I've wished Mike luck selling this on, but you're in the wrong place fella if you're looking for anything like the price you've listed on Ebay. Your corvette has already passed through the hands of three members on here too, at a price that is poles apart from yours.

Sorry Mike, but people in here know the typical sale value of machine titles and whilst Corvette isn't seen often, rarity is not the only factor driving value. It's mainly the title and demand.... It's your machine anyway and can ask what you like, I just wouldn't expect enquiries to come flooding in y'know... ;)

Might as well close this thread. No longer available and it will become a slagging field on price.

Positive advice :) Machine isn't "Very Rare" and trying to sell it back to the community for double what you paid not a very good idea :) If you want to make that much profit on it then try HLD or Liberty see what they will offer as they re-sell at inflated prices or you could try facebook, gumtree, etc ;)

That one has been listed at least five times at that price. I keep following various auctions to see what they sell for.

Out of interest, what value would you place on it?

Bought from my place a few months ago for exactly that. He's in dreamland. Using my pics too.... the cheek.

Seems to me that instead of having some positive remarks or advice, people have just basically given unjustified comments....

:hmm:

You said to me this was your first pinball machine and after a prompt from the forum owner, I'm politely pointing out you're trying to flip it for more than double you paid.... to people who have a lot of pinball experience (two of whom here have owned this very machine). C'mon Mike, don't throw your dummy out, it's sound advice.... but GLWS anyway.

One flipper was playing up a month or so after buying. Nothing else needed doing AFAIK.

“To all the idiots on that 'Pinball Forum', try and find one in this condition at this price before making stupid comments and If you are a watcher, I would appreciate it if you would UNWATCH and STOP with the stupid offers.”
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Someone please list a corvette at like 2.5k just to kill his listing. The description is laughable and surely would raise alarm bells with anyone considering purchasing.

Two Ban's in one day???..... that would be a first here......

I have had a guts full of People who arrive, and either think the world owes them something, and that everyone else is wrong, or who think that we are all lying just to wind them up...
And of course this thread being their first post....

Ooh...
I will not be putting any further posts on here in the future as I have a life to get on with.

I'll take this as a request to remove your account then.... Done!!

I made an offer or two as he's only 5 minutes from me, but he declined them then reworded the ad calling them silly and unrealistic..darn
The price is up and down like a yo yo..

The seller of this machine sounds like a lovely person :cuckoo:

Love the approach of 'well this bunch of crooks sell it for x so my price is a bargain'
