Looking at the Allways real potential of update killing a node, wondering if updating is really worth it this time?

I've heard this a few times, updates killing a node board, but how? How exactly does a software update physically blow a node board?

Ah ok, I think I'm mixing up software bricking issues with physical issues. I was just using the terminology of someone on Pinside who said when he updated it had "Blown Node Board 8".

Well eventually a full download.
The update went smoothly and working ok.
As mentioned above the skill shot lights are now reversed. So less of a skill shot

Did you end up with a Zip file within a Zip file? I've downloaded batman-1_05_0.spk1.zip. I've extracted that to a folder so now have files .003.000 and .003.002 which look correct. File .003.001 is another Zip file. I've extracted that which has given me .003, NOTE: not .003.001. If I try to rename it to .003.001 it just changes it to another Zip file which isn't extractable.

My batman-1_05-0.spk1.zip is 5,538,615 KB if anyone else can check theirs?

Format the stick FAT32 and place the files in root

I can’t see the point in that when they are struggling to meet demand on games that people actually want and get on top of back orderes Elvira not it production till November they have more chance of shifting those than bm66
