They have distanced themselves from him. Not using his cab, his playfield design or artwork. Joe Bolcer is their designer now. Loads on pinside or virtually any pinball podcast but Kaneda podcast is the most upto date.
I dont really follow threads. Well hats off to them for getting Magic Girl to the people who purchased it. I bet that has cost them a fortune to do. Perhaps they were expecting everyone to forgive John.
Real shame - my favourite pinball designer - but I would not trust him with a fiver of mine.

And this is why I've not commented on this thread until now or anything else to do with Magic Girl as while American Pinball may have distanced themselves from JPOP this game is still using work that Jim did and has never been compensated for which is a f*cking disgrace IMO
Can't be happy for people getting this game knowing it's history
