Afterglow Nano - Group Buy - ** ££ payment time ££ **

I'd like to jump in on this if it is not too late. I would like qty 1 AG Nano, and qty 1 AGGI when this list happens.

I can send payment for both or one now to dayv5000@gmail.com

@stumblor let me know if I can sneak in.

Since I'm in Canada postage will be more. I want your Chase Echo, and Move Your Snackbar as well so maybe it's best to combine everything into one shipment? I have no problem sending funds your way now though.

Sure mate sounds great. Combined postage will be fine. I'll work out the price for things and fire you over a pm later.

@Matrixnetuk yes mate we've got a few left over and they are the right type for your TZ. I'll put you down for one and we can sort payment out when they arrive next week.

@Matt Vince The honest response is that I have no idea. The afterglows basically operate in exactly the same way as the LEDOCD, and based on the LEDOCD website, the board design is the same for both the WPC and the System 11/7/3 versions (with possible wiring variations). I'd be happy to look into it but currently don't have a game here to test with.

Fab stuff chap, drop me a PM with your bank details on and i will ping you some monies over :)
I may need a little advice later on how to actually install this but seems fairly straightforward

Yep no problem - post any queries or question here then everyone can benefit. The only (marginally) tricky bit will be the cabling, but will post an exact guide for that as I start sending the bards out. In fact, @MadNat do you still have that cable schematic handy?

Man, you're a tease. I thought this was going to be an ASMR unboxing video. Instead I got 2 seconds of bubble wrap and a wild camera pan to the right. I did notice those translucent rubbers and light pink playfield though. Looks beautiful.

Any update on the AGGI board?

I'll get my wallet ready.

Wild panning with zero useful info is my specialty :D

AGGI - no plans as yet mate might wait until the emotional impact from this group buy has worn off first...

Damn. I thought there was a group buy going for this already. It's the GI that's driving me bonkers on my Creech.

Required Cable set drawing here for those that are interested
I see the AWG in the drawing and the pitch for the connectors (thank you). I take it the lengths are in millimeters? I'm going to put part number list together and share it with this thread when completed. Hopefully tomorrow.

@MadNat This cable drawing is great, but I see an error with cable A-B. This is the one using the 254mm pitch connector and 20AWG wire. The minimum gauge wire a 254mm terminal pin accepts is 22AWG-30AWG. 20AWG is a little too big. I'm guessing 22AWG is acceptable for this connector?

Here is the part list I put together so far with quantities. The part list on the AG wiki was missing the 254mm trifurcon part number and the 2 position Molex. Please take a look at the list to make sure I'm not omitting anything. It would be great if this list was double-checked and verified.

One thing to note, I have been told that if the negative power connection comes loose and disconnects it could blow the Adruino board.
I think it was only the negative anyway.
@Vimtoman can confirm this😁

Someone definitely needs to find a socket which can be used to power the Afterglow but as I remember it’s not easily available hence the croc clips.

To avoid the croc clip / test probe setup you could always go...

Molex Splitter on the transformer --> 12v DC power supply --> Afterglow

Bit more work though.

You'll notice a few of the items double up (.156 trifurcons and 3A wire) but I thought it was better to separate out, just be aware when ordering. Hopefully everyone has a bit of wire lying around anyway that they can use. Please let me know if there are any mistakes or omissions!

Or scotch lock/join in like when fitting pin2dmd.
