Sold AFM £3750

Just time for a change. We only have room for 1 so tend to cycle through a couple of games a year. I don't want to say too much about my next game til it's done and dusted :D
 
cant believe this is still for sale, id have had this at 4k if I only had the money :( great price!!!
 
Last price drop £3750. If it doesn't sell this week I'll relist it after xmas for the original £3995 again. Had a few people say they would be interested in a month or two

With TAF's selling for over £3k now, surprising that an AFM is not shifting.
 
my favourite game ever, surprised to still see it here for sale.

these so rarely come up for sale that i suppose it's tricky to know their actual 'market value'. i had it pegged at about the same as MB, but maybe MB has pulled ahead now. did AFM get announced already as the next remake (MB less straightforward due to so many licenses apparently) - as that would probably dent its price a bit?

anyway if i was you, i'd flood this thread with close up high resolution photos - pinporn attracts pinheads
 
Don't think they've announced the next game by its widely expected to be AFM. That said, they won't sell more than a handful at £6500 when nice originals are selling for less then £4k. The hardware could be useless after a year or two whereas WMS/Bally hardware is still going strong after 2 decades.

I paid £4K which I think is about the going rate, Christmas probably isn't the best time of year to be selling! I've seen games sell for not a lot less in much worse condition
 
@Kenny Taylor wants AFM in his collection!

Go get it, Newcastle is only just over the border. You could pop down this weekend and do a bit of Christmas shopping when your down there. Don't do to much otherwise you'll not get the pin in the car.
 
AFM is also on my wanted list but unfortunately it's way beyond my budget at the moment, but we can all dream for now.
 
Still for sale

Had three offers of £3500 and one of £3625. I should have left it at £4K and let people think they were bartering me down!

I think £3750 is a fair price though and less than I paid.

The initial plan was to sell this for £4000 and buy 2 games from France for £4200. The exchange rate went up though so I ended up paying £4400, and then I dropped the price on this to £3750. Add in the fact that travel to France is around double what I expected and I've gone from a £200 shortfall to £800 :confused:
 
Really surprised it hasn't sold at that price, if I hadn't already owned one recently I would have snapped this up...come on people AFM is awesome!
 
someone must have a 2nd hand one lying around they can sell for a tenner? You wouldn't need to change the whole door iirc

I can take a deposit and keep it for someone until after Xmas/January if needed?
 
That was one of my old AFM's had it back twice before selling it on to Jonathan. I am surprised it's still hanging around the playfield on it was lovely, way better than the one I sold the month after this one.
Jonathan you should invest in a colour DMD take better pictures and stick it up on the bay for 5k someone will offer you 4K plus for it.
But take better pictures my man .
