I have aAny one got a clue what I do next n adams family pinball m/c that has developed a fault. When a ball is locked the m/c sends 2 balls into play.I have checked all switches and connections and found no thing wrong/
Depends how you test them. Pressing them with your fingers isn’t the same as having balls present.
Take all the balls out. You should have three. Get into switch edge test. Place a ball into the trough. Look for a single and consistent corresponding switch closure displayed on the display. Flick the ball over into the trough. Repeat for balls 2 and 3. Check that all three switches show closed in the trough. Using your finger activate the ball feed to eject one ball into the shooter lane. Check that the switch closures represent the hall positions correctly. Repeat for the second ball. Check that the previously closed switches open and reflect the ball positions.
Drop a ball into the swamp, check that the lower lock switch closes and remains closed. Load the second and third balls similarly. Any wrong switch closure must be rectified.
following pinball m.ania suggestion I have done as he suggested and everthing seems fine Out with the big hammer.Atrange how the only m/c u want to play is the one with a fault on
so with one ball in the swamp, do all the trough switches test out properly? ie take all the balls out of the trough and then add in one at a time as he suggests above
after doing all the checks as recommended and finding all ok while testing balls along trough switch 34 rt loop upper appeared on the display.ON checking 34 switch no beep was heard on depressing the actuator.Could faulty swifch 34 be Broken?Access to switch 34 is only possible by removing a big thing metal coverIs it safeto remove it?Cheers WB
Very sorry for any offence taken after my crass comment.I am not and have never been a racist and my daughters long term partner is an gentleman from Iraq and we get on fine. The remark was foolish and not meant to cause offence again I apologise. As a matter of interest collywobbles found a bad switch in the ball trough and changed it so m/c is sortes .Cheers WB/
