I have aAny one got a clue what I do next n adams family pinball m/c that has developed a fault. When a ball is locked the m/c sends 2 balls into play.I have checked all switches and connections and found no thing wrong/

Those switches in the swamp are always problematic. CHANGE THEM ALL. I think there is 4.

You need to fiddle and set them up perfectly.

Dont mess with the old switches. You will set them and it will mess up again.

Ask @philpalmer - he can supply the correct parts (as these switches get changed on any addams in the pinball heaven workshop!)

is it ejecting two balls into the shooter lane or just one and a 2nd ball out of a lock?

Depends how you test them. Pressing them with your fingers isn’t the same as having balls present.

Take all the balls out. You should have three. Get into switch edge test. Place a ball into the trough. Look for a single and consistent corresponding switch closure displayed on the display. Flick the ball over into the trough. Repeat for balls 2 and 3. Check that all three switches show closed in the trough. Using your finger activate the ball feed to eject one ball into the shooter lane. Check that the switch closures represent the hall positions correctly. Repeat for the second ball. Check that the previously closed switches open and reflect the ball positions.

Drop a ball into the swamp, check that the lower lock switch closes and remains closed. Load the second and third balls similarly. Any wrong switch closure must be rectified.

i’d check as pinball mania suggests. it could be a dodgy switch or diode on one of the swamp or trough switches

following pinball m.ania suggestion I have done as he suggested and everthing seems fine Out with the big hammer.Atrange how the only m/c u want to play is the one with a fault on

so with one ball in the swamp, do all the trough switches test out properly? ie take all the balls out of the trough and then add in one at a time as he suggests above
