I get confused with the speed of these! the philips one's are meant to be fast 150ns, the one's below are 650ns so much slower than the philips?

It's the same problem with Stern pinballs, they have a higher clock speed, so they need faster RAM. RAM's that work in a Bally almost never work in a Stern.

Additionally, the sounds are CPU driven on Stern, so you get wierd sound issues if the RAMs are not fast enough.

I've tried my NVRAM boards in Stern pins and they work fine.

Even the Altek CPU board with the 6116 RAM has wierd sounds in some Stern games.
