“GTF” Galactic Tank Owners Parlour

So spent a couple hours tonight but there are issues with cowabunga mulitball and also 2nd mulitball where it releases all instead of 1 from the lock .Sent all the logs through.

It's playing really nice. music doesnt fade. More call outs. right spinner now easier to achieve the sprinkles mode with they are quite funny.

Looking to get update 4 next week

Tried the version from the previous link last night in my game (25.01.17). Only played a couple of games but noticed the music level no longer appears to drop. Never started multiple ball.

Downloading the new version (25.01.31) now....it seems quite a bit smaller in size.
I will try and upload later today, play a few games and report back.

New code seems to be working great👍 Not sure I have played any 2 player games since updating but my boy and his mate have today and he didn't mention any issues to me.
 
Hopefully last code update coming soon before release. Meanwhile ive finished the tank

Hi everyone! "Other side of the pond" (hope that's ok!) new SE owner here - due to be delivered this afternoon, can't wait! Have read through the entire owner's thread on pinside and here, as well - appreciate all the work you've done @SeikoKid in testing the code, I already have 25.05.16 on the flash drive ready to go! Looking forward to playing and helping keep the GTF threads active!
 
Thanks - have it downloaded, just need time to get it installed. Hopefully the coder will get back to you and let you know, specifically, what was addressed in the update.
 
Yeah, I saw that - thanks! I seemed to focus on the part where you said "fixing some of the glitches previously noted but I haven't had the full break down from him yet as to what." No worries. If everything you provided him got fixed, that's fantastic - and if only some / most got addressed, it's still better than what we had in the previous unreleased beta you provided, so we're definitely heading in the right direction! Appreciate all your work and effort with the coder to get us an amazing playing experience!
 
I’m now officially in the owners club. Built my tank last night. Loving the game so far. Had a few games initially with the code it came with and thought there was quite a bit missing. After updating, the difference was massive and i ended staying up til 3am playing it. Really good, cheesy, honest fun game that shoots even better than I expected.

Just reading back through this thread and it looks like they have actually changed things slightly. Looks like the original release had grey legs, lockdown bar etc and they are now similar in colour to the cab....

Deluxes have the grey ,signatures have the green/blue ish powdercoat and 3d back glass and the other extras
 
Sorry Dave, deluxe was black , LE grey and signature greenish

There was an issue with the LE coming with black legs last year on 2 of the units

are you now running the July Code ?
 
Yes there is

You can adjust the tank magnet pattern and also the power of the atomic shield

I recommend 3 / 4 on the tank and shield on 8

The shield is still powerfull and such i still run the flipper save mod and glass protector set as during a stacked multiball session a ball can drain as you hit the tank and if the draining ball is on the shield at the time it will smack the glass

Also the outlane mods help with unwanted ball drain

There is still a couple of tiny issues like 2 balls in AIR lock and then getting cowabunga it will let more go than it should but these scenarios arnt that easy to get yourself into when playing

The diverter is now completely manual and set your Neutron bomb to 1 hit as it’s impossible to hit it 4 times straight
Rewards change to extra ball instead of points and keep ball lock physical

shaker on medium and knocker on physical

there’s more stuff i think but you have my number still maybe ? if you want to go full nerd on it
