Looking at the thread for last year I said one of the plans for 2022 was to look into getting the garage converted...well that happened lol. Pin plans for 2023? I'd like an IMDN again, not sure what would have to leave to make space though.

So er that escalated quickly, didn't it...!

Pinball machines bought this year:

Still no Dog Ball, but who knows what 2023 will bring! (And I'm not sure we have the space right now anyway...!)

I officially moved in with @David_Vi in March, and we have hosted 3 events at Pinhaus this year:
  • 29th January - Now That's Pinball (Roadshow themed)
  • 28th May - Pinball Finds a Way (Jurassic Park themed)
  • 13th November - Here Comes the Rush (Diner themed)
And helped @Hiltoncriss to run events at the Office - A Day At The Office on 3rd April (with more coming up including a regular league meet in 2023!).

I have been to loads of fantastic events hosted by others - highlights were Pinfest 2022 (I don't think I've ever laughed so hard and so much), Swavesey, the UK Open, the Northern Flip Frenzy and Pizza and Pinball at Medway, as well as all the regular meets at Pinball Republic (and my first trophies!).

A brilliant and very busy year, I feel very lucky to be able to afford all these lovely machines and to have met so many great people - can't wait to see what 2023 will bring. :)

Busy year building up the collection, though I did end up selling quite a few of my Arcade cabs to make room. But saying that, I did get some new ones as well. Finished my T2 and made a good start on the next 2 projects.

Events wise I attended 3 Scottish League Meets, and we had really good fun weekends at NERG and Pinfest. The highlights over the year was meeting some great people from the community and made to feel welcome on here. I plan to continue to attend the league meets, NERG and Pinfest in 2023. Hoping to also pickup another Pin in 2023.

For events it was just as crazy, 2021 is when I started to venture to events and get to know people, which I've loved. So 2022 was full speed ahead with us even holding our own events, 3 comps at ours and one at Pinball office. It's hard to list all the others we attended but Swavesey is probably a highlight as it was the first time we took a game out of the house😀


I think we're having a big cool down period now. No more pins and a rest from events 😄

For 2023: I'll most likely be getting a RFM at some point once Alien has left. Hope for a Metallica Premium is hanging by a thread he he, but will be seeing the band at one of the double shows this year and have more hope of a Met Remake being announced (which is hopefully not crap...)

Events in 2022:
Didn't get to as many tournaments as I'd've liked in 2022, partly due to getting married/honeymoon, but U.K open, Electric Circus, PBR and Domino stand out for me 👍 . My wife also took me to the Budapest PB Museum last year as a late Birthday present (it's my Birthday today as it happens....first day back at work and hardly anyone's here!..)

For 2023, apart from some gigs booked and a holiday to Canada being planned, I'll be at this years U.K open, NERG and as many tournaments as time/enthusiasm allows. Will hopefully get to visit the PB museum in Amsterdam when I'm there to see Metallica - been years since my first visit.
Am also gonna get my finger out this year and get an album/EP out this year and a new band together and start gigging again- has been way too long.
