Awesome game, if I didn’t manage to get one 6 months ago I would take this. Good luck.

I know Colin really well and have spoke at length with him about this pin. Although I haven’t seen this in person after chatting about numerous times it sounds like it’s a rare HUO pin with very low plays.
Over the past 30+years I have had literally dozens of pins from col and his descriptions have been spot on so when he rates this to me like new I believe it will be.
All that said I would advise you go see the pin in person if at all interested.

I wouldn’t normally comment, it looks nice but there is zero chance that has only 52 plays on it - just look at the beginning of wear around the flipper buttons. Still a nice pin but worth pointing out

TSPP is notorious for wear around the flipper buttons. It wears if you just look at it. I put armoured side rails on mine to cover it up....that might not be possible with the additional skill post buttons though. Looks like a nice pin and I regret selling mine as it's such a fun game. But the skill post isn't desirable.

Ok look at the garage door decal, I have owned 6 TSPP including a very low play HUO and it looked like new. This one looks very nice and is likely HUO but 52 paid credits is not the plays it has had, more like 500. Not that it really matters, as the pin looks nice And condition is key. I’m just imparting my knowledge to ensure any buyer is informed. The seller says the plays cannot be verified, the 52 paid credits is a bit of a red herring

You can cover the skill post buttons with the side armour

Hi To all you fellow members all I can say I Brought a wizard of Oz off him and it is was in excellent condition throughout and that had ultra low plays aswell This guy was working away alot of the time and he had several other Pinballs This guy hardly played any of them so you make your own decision but from speaking to the guy what he told me he was a honest person In my opinion you will not find one better Thanks Colin

After getting my lotr with skill posts I can honestly say they don’t bother me.
However I can see that some people could have an aversion to them.
I don’t however think it should affect price massively, but I dare say opinions will vary.

Hey, each to their own, but from seeing previous prices on here for skill post versions, I just don’t see how it could be top money with it.

Anyway, I am derailing the sales thread, so good luck to the seller.

And……There is a whacking great big post in the playfield. Are you honestly saying there is no difference to one with or without skill posts?

I thought they were only on the outlanes? When I've played a skill post version, I didn't notice them after a while. In fact one time I didn't even know they were there till after.

I wasn't aware what skillposts were at the time.
I don't see how they effect price that much, some people aren't that bothered?

I have a RCT with skill posts. They make absolutely no difference to the game. You can turn them on if you wish and add another element to the game. Just OCD people that don't like them, how is a skill post any different from having something like a drop trap target on the PF.

"A whacking great big post"........ that is flush to the playfield so that you don't really even see it 🕵️‍♂️.

I also have Simpsons with them and after adjusting the height on the center post they don’t have any impact at all. I have also got covers to cover the old buttons on the side.
