Firepower 2, loose lane guide fix?

Left hand lane guide on my FP2 works loose/pops out. Ok for stopping ball draining but tbh a pita. It just pushes back in but not tight fit so just wondered on best fix?

First thing I'd check is how parallel the two ends are - and that both are fully locating (rail depth same as others, i.e. half a ball, at both ends)
If this all checks out and it were mine, I might try a tiny tweak to change the post angle very slightly, so that it grips in hole differently.
Hardly technical jargon I'm afraid, but fixed a few machines that way.

I'd mix up a tiny bit of Araldite and apply that to the hole using a toothpick. Refit the rail and wait for it to cure. I've done that before and it held.

Thanks for the info guys.

Was a bit slack/bit of play in the hole (no smut please ) so decided to mix some Gorilla epoxy and now sound, not going to pop out
