Make your own Sam! ;)
I made this same POTD mod for my first LOTR that I had back in 2012.
I believe there was a thread on Pinside way back about this, so I bought a sheet of thin perspex and some figurines from ebay and constructed it. Photo attached of my version.
Excuse the blue...
Nice to see one of my old games again. It was already LED'd when I got it, but I added some coloured LED flashers and changed a few insert lamps that were ghosting. I really enjoyed playing this, and would have one again if I had the cash available.
@Sam C did a YouTube video of this machine...
Dipping my toe back into pinball ownership again after having picked up a non-working 1975 Bally Knockout EM machine (many thanks to @Sam C for the chance to bag this machine). I need a electrical schematic drawing and possibly a manual for this game to get this working again. There is nothing...
I think you will find this thread on Pinside is the one you want. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/mod-removers-club-getting-rid-of-mods-one-machine-at-a-time
I have it saved as one of my favourite threads as I too dislike unnecessary and expensive mods. ;)
Pinball Geoff of Ramsgate Pinball Parlour fame, and an operator of games in North London used to take some of his machines to Glastonbury so they are probably his. He probably ends up having to jet-wash the mud off the cabinets when he gets them home after the show. :D
My, that line-up brings back memories from the past!
I used to travel down to Hayling Island quite frequently to play those pins. There was a MM in that line-up seven years ago, obviously long sold off and now replaced by a South Park.
The games weren't in very good condition as I recall...
It was at the Red Lodge transport cafe on the A11 near Newmarket. As shown in this thread: http://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/ngg-50p-for-2-credits.30608/#post-137651
It was still there when I last visited the cafe a few months back.
Regret selling my Premium a while back. Enjoyed getting to play a few games again on @Chris P Premium last weekend.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/new-acdc-finally-revealed - Thread now on Pinside with pictures and the usual Yank banter.
Yes, I had a great time playing Aerosmith at Chief with @Sam C and @Chris P I just couldn't play well enough to get my name on it like Sam and Chris unfortunately.
A shame that Game of Thrones wasn't working there on the day.
@Chief - Aerosmith was a bit fussy about accepting...
If ordering glass or perspex in metric size, make sure that the thickness is 3mm and not 4 or 5mm. Otherwise you will have trouble sliding the plastic clips onto the edges of the glass to hold the translite on to it, and it may not fit into the slot on the speaker panel properly.
I wondered how long those black lightning flipper bats would last on your BSD @RudeDogg1 ?
They were fitted when I bought them at the 2013 UKPP, and I was told when I bought them that they would probably break up after a few games.
They have done pretty well considering...
I enjoy playing at the Monday Night league at Tilt Brum when I can. Not always able to attend the meetings though, especially at bank holiday weekends due to family commitments.
Otherwise I don't normally attend competitions, mainly due to the amount of time standing around waiting just to...
Thanks for clarifying this @BigIan
Checking back, I had sent these pictures to Mister Marty in 2013 via the person who picked up the game and took it across the water to deliver it to him. Looks like he never sold the game in that last "for sale" thread.
I was just a bit surprised to see my...
