I appreciate this is a bit of a long shot but I'm after a decent condition Zaccaria Robot :D If anyone has one they'd consider moving on or knows where one might be located then please give me a shout

We had one back in the late 80s at home, bought by my old man, so in theory there is at least 1 in the uk (if its survived)!. Unfortunately, he didn't keep records of where they all got sold :(

I suspect I might be reaching out to Europe to have any chance of getting hold of one but you never know. Does anyone have an email address for Zacc Keith, probably worth giving him a shout :)

I'd love to see more games like this in collectors hands in the UK. Only a small percentage of people on here are really into the older games. I find I get into older games and less into DMD as time goes on. There is more to appreciate on artistically spectacular games like this.

So good luck on your quest Chris, maybe you find that one guy in the UK that has one

Want to contact this guy in Alfreton who is selling the hook on ebay? He has a pile of machines in storage. Might strike lucky.

Brian has a lot of games but doesn't like parting with many! He is less attached to modern games hence the current eBay listing. He still has games he had off me in 1988. I don't think he know what he has himself LOL. You may be able to spot something lurking at the right of my storage container but unfortunately it took me 25 years to locate a ROBOT as it had been on my hit list since new. It was pencilled in for this years UKPP but despite starting a game (I was amazed when that happened)

there was no sound which turned out to on inspection to be lack of a sound board! It will be at event some time next year. PS both spare JPs are "allocated" if that's the correct term

1. Insist on proof of life. Video of the game working, with the owner holding a copy of today's newspaper

2. Price negotiation

3. Road trip

[far from] simples

Yeah. I don't think that the full list as i saw a TAF and MM at his place when i went to look at the hook.

I'd have thought Steve would know if Brian had one so I suspect he's not ;) According to Pinball Owners there are none in the UK :(

A guy called Dougie in Cannock collects Zaccaria machines. he has a robot in his collection (that makes 2 within 20 sq miles lol but then he has SPOOKY which I also have so go figure) . He wont sell that but he may have a spare. Will email him later

"Challenge The Robots From Zaccaria"

Ah , the memories! Must try and dig out the photo archive! Also the sound board used a similar chip from the s&t era. I think it was the later TMS 5220 ics. (I have some if you need one later!)

Just incase anyone doesn't know, the Zaccaria app on ios/android has the Robot table. Not quite the same but with Zacs being so rare in this country its nice to at least get a look at/virtual game of all their different machines.

lovely grainy pic. the wonderful 80s ! May need some kind soul to blow me some sound roms for ROBOT as only spare sound board I have came from a sacrificed soccer kings
