Latest update has made the danger room far more fun with only 1 progress bar all switches contribute to, rather than having to complete X spinners, X pops, x targets etc.
Agreed Kev, I had some good games tonight, the update really is better than I thought and found myself purposely making danger room shots and trying to control the ball in there to back hand the spinner rather than flailing to get it up and out as quick as possible.

Hoping the next update adds stuff for comboing shots as they've eluded to as that'll help the flow feel more meaningful too.

thats terrible I liked having to hit the shots and having a skill element to the danger room - feels like they are going backwards on this one
 
I'm really enjoying the new code. Definitely much more fun. Scoring seems more generous too. Had the league meet at mine on Saturday and most said UXM was brilliant so seems to be hitting the spot with non-owners too.

Needs a **** ton more adding to it though. I remember watching the extended release video with George Gomez who said the team had a ton planned for this game. None of it has come to light yet.
 
Been frantically trying to get to 35 sentinels to see this Berserker mode. I just can't get there, 27 best! 🤣🤣

Fun update though, surprised how even just this and having something to push for makes a massive difference already.

Actually found myself grinding the danger room for the 2x sentinels in the future perk too.

So I reckon two more wizard modes, some non-linear to the story modes, and some other bits that make use of the mechanisms in this game (finger ball lock, cerebro ball lock - how cool would they be), the promised diversity changes to the 8 base modes and we're potentially getting somewhere.

Good to see that you are still excited by this game and the updates, i hope it still gets the finish it needs

To me though and i hope to be proved wrong, stern has a habit of returning to type on not finishing things properly or just walking away and forgetting about things. I wonder how john wick, and d&d owners feel?? And what about venom, did that get abandoned? Just feels alot like late 2000s to early 2010s again..
 
Venom was completed, lots of modes, you just unfortunately won't see them if you're **** or if you play on a Pro (because you'll walk away).

I used to like buying games early and seeing the code progression (mostly when lyman was at the helm to be fair though, not lonnie code..). But recently and from experience on the last 2 stern games i've bought nib, the code direction has gone in the opposite direction on some things and started to **** me off... Its a bit of a quandary now, as do i change my view on buying in early now and just sit and wait til the end before giving them a shot?? Not gonna help new sales much that is it, but i dont like seeing things get ****ed up either..

I feel the same. Code takes too long for me if I buy from the first run. Plus the little mechanical issues that every release has now which get fixed on later runs.

Pokemon will test how strongly I feel about this though as theme is great for me and I have a space…

Only theme left that has me more excited than a school boy finding his first jazz mag is tremors! Or maybe gen 1 transformers with soundwave narratives
 
I waited 18 months before committing to a John Wick - I like the shots but knew it needed fettling to play right.

The code is good now and just one more update for the final wizard modes.

Seems the transformers dream may be coming sooner than i thought!!

Bank balance is likely gonna take a hammering.... but can i trust stern not to **** this one up to???????
