I have a power driver board with 3 faults, a string of lamps stays on, 1 high power solenoid and 1 low power solenoid won't function. I've metered the corresponding drivers and they all seem OK. Swapped to another pin so it's definitely the board. The board is unhacked so can anyone recommend a repair service?

Also have a dead dot matrix board, voltages are present at the display, but pin 1 and 2 measure the same, even though pin 1 should be higher at -125v. Is it worth getting this repaired or should I just get a Pinled replacement board?

I would just buy the pinled board and forget about it ever giving you a problem again. Bought them a few times now and they are a great buy.

That said, for a fiver or so, you can get the rebuild kit from Andy at pinmania. Gone that route before too. I have done this three times in the past with only one being successful. I decided to save myself the faff on to buy the pinled board instead.

I thought about having a go at the rebuild kit for the DMD board, but I'm not overly keen on spending hours working on it, and the Pinled board is tempting, but someone has offered to repair the board for a good price.

I've got 2 machines with 20 year old working untouched DMD boards in, so I bet with the new components they'll be good for another 20 years.
