For sale Standard Woz with Invis glass. I helped my brother find this game a few months ago from a forum member as he really liked mine but he has car problems so needs to go to get a new car.

This is a very low play machine in mint condition no damage or marks anywhere. Only been moved once in its life. Was original bought new from Phil at pinball heaven. Not used much at all in its life.

This has the original light boards but everything is all ok at present.

Comes with all bits from new.

£5700 for quick sale.

I also have a brand new in the box a 2.0 Light board set just in case any problems in the future that I would sell with it if wanted for a agreed extra price.

I can’t move the pin on my own with its rubber feet on the floor but the left side is mint also but if needed will get pictures for anyone who is interested.

The pin will be packed with cardboard on the bottom, wrapped all over and a foam sleeve over front back box edge like all my pins I have sold.

This will be wrapped once inspected by whoever will be collecting it.

PM me for any further info.

Brand New 2.0 full kit costing £860 from Pinball Heaven can be sold with it a extra agreed price.

To confirm what I said in my advert my last sold machine got damaged in transit so from now on everything I sell will be inspected before and signed for.

It doesn’t need the 2.0 kit fitted as there is no problem with the boards but with this kit it will mate it bullet proof for the future.

No love for the WOZ on here. I wonder if the light board issues put people off ? With a 2.0 light board set though it would be bomb proof but fitting the set is not for the faint hearted.

I’ve got Ruby red WOZ and can’t believe he features JJP packed into the pin. No wonder it nearly bankrupted them. The RGB light show is something to behold.

Its so expensive to make the Yellow brick road version is now a stripped down version that’s significantly more expensive than this.

GLWS great price !

I never got the WOZ hype.......... until I stood in front of one and marvelled at its beauty and the toys and features crammed into it. The rules are amazing for this game. I sold iron maiden and bought one as soon as I played it for the first time. With the 2.0 boards in reserve should you ever need them, this is a great buy.

I’d LOVE it if I had the room and not just got a NIB Hobbit 😔 don’t understand the light issue were the V1 prone to premature failure then? Presumably the upgrade involves a near strip down if Hobbit Playfield is anything to go by?

This is a later run model near the end of the 1000 run and is very low plays so don’t think this will have any problems anytime soon if any.

This will be for sale till sat. You won’t find a better deal in this condition and price with the bits or without. No more price drops £6000 all in or £5100 just the pin.

I'd actually quite like a bash at owning a WOZ, and this one looks lovely, but i only have trades, no cash, so i'll jog-on.

Think think the 7.5v buffered boards are pretty much the same as the v2.0 set. Only difference is that the the 7.5v ones are wired in series and the 2.0 are not.

They solved the main problem which was static in the buffering.

Read up allot on this before jumping in to the WOZ RR

So does this have 7.5v buffered boards in it? Or does it have 5v boards?

Regardless. IF.... it ever breaks. There’s a 2.0 kit sitting there waiting like a knight in shining armour.

My WOZ is very early run 27/1000. It has 5v lamp boards. They’re still going fine. I have a 2.0 kit just in case. I pondered for a while before purchasing my WOZ with the same concerns but in the end thought **** it. Just go for it. Glad I did it’s epic

+1 Spandangler - I agree if anyone has the money for the boards and the pin, it’s a great pin.

Never mind, 7.5v boards were unbuffered also, only the 2.0 board is buffered.

They did a 7.5v and a 7.5v buffered

Pages of stuff on pinside about them

If this has 7.5V buffered as stock @BigBear77 can you confirm, I am assuming not given the 2.0 boards but I’d be interested if it did already.

Thanks for all the support @BigBear77 - v.1.1 is unbuffered, v1.2 is buffered. So these would be unbuffered. The V1.2 have B100 (a 74AHCT125) that stops lock ups apparently?

Blinking things, so much of me is saying go for it, it'll be fine, but someone who can take both the game and boards should take this.
James

Where did you get that info from out of interest. The buffering refers to the small daughter board that’s present at the connection terminal. This is clearly present in the 1.1v boards on this machine ?

Hey @Scorn - two main threads

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/woz-75-buffer-boards

this one and another on my laptop, seems the daughter Board was a passthrough to switch boards off should they go down?

Sitting down to to dinner when back at laptop will send other post which has versioning details.

This is just my research, which has also said loads of people have had all three boards have had ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES - and that each one just increases stability.
To be fair mate you have made your mind up this isn’t for you so wouldn’t worry yourself about it. The pin is huo, hardly any plays and has no faults. I think best you buy a new one for £9,950. Can we keep this as a for sale thread and you open a new thread regarding Woz boards if you need to carry on this talk.
