Has anyone ever repaired these with a pop rivet pls ?

I need to repair 4 in Space Station, all below the playfield. I have seen nuts and bolts used before but these can come undone. You could use 2x nuts but I don't think I have any suitable bolts lying around.

Rather than mess about desoldering and then sending away to get riveted by a kindly soul with the expensive press .....

I wondered about an in situ repair. A correct length pop rivet could be quite a neat fix.

A 3.2mm rivet fits nicely and is actually slightly wider than broken rivet found in the base of the cabinet.

As noone talked me out of it, I have gone for the pop rivet repair.

Only time will tell how effective it is, but it appears to do the job and certainly tightens them up nicely 20220208_140844.jpg....

I just bought new stand up targets for mine, they aren't that expensive you can get them on Pinball Heaven.

These ones are unique to the game, not just the standard single colour 20220208_145527.jpgones used across a variety of titles...
