I have owned this machine for nearly two years now - previously owned and looked after well by @Fubar - and she has been great for all of this time, only ever needed a bit of fettling in that time.
I only have capacity for one pinball, and having spent lots of time deciding to sell this little lady, every time I play her I change mind again and decide to keep her. Anyway, realising that life is to short, it's time for another game in the house to play so lets see if anyone fancies offering this old girl a new home.
*This is a players machine - that is, she works and plays really well, she is tidy, but she is not a minty fresh example*
I recorded some of her life with me in this shop log here, which links to some of here previous life as well.
PROS:
Comet LED throughout except flashers and pops.
PIN2DMD color DMD installed
Mirror blades
Felt sides on the playfield to reduce the risk of scratches
Playfield glass is nice, think its from a modern Stern
Legs and levellers nice, think they were about new when I got the machine
Recent supercharger plastic replaced
Mountain, Traffic light and donut heaven mod installed (home printed and painted) - original parts included in sale
Stock red pop caps replaced with red, yellow green transparent caps.
Playfield protector fitted earlier this year
Batteries removed and in a remote holder.
CONS:
Playfield is quite nice, but some raised inserts, some paint wear and some light damage (see photos and shop log for a clear view). A few inserts have partial art loss on them - including the Hold Bonus, Speed Millions and Hold Bonus inserts - I added a playfield protector to, well, protect the playfield from any further damage.
Plastics look original and not as clean and clear as modern replacements
Cabinet is original and is faded. There are scratches and chips over all the body and back box and damage to the back from previous transport.
Coin door is a replacement I sourced for the dreadful one she came with, however it's ok from a distance, but has some bubbling paint at the bottom left.
The shooter lane gate works fine, but something has happened to it make it pointed and sharp - never needed to change, but pointing it out.
The Left inline guide works fine, but seems to be missing its lip as it aligns with the left flipper.
The top beacon works fine, but is not original (see pics). It's been 100% solid since I have owned her.
This machine exhibits the WPC power on and power off POP noise. This is normal for WPC machines it seems, but wanted to point this out.
No coin mech fitted - always been free play for me.
No exit ramp ball deflector - not all Getaways had there - I 3D printed one which works just fine and you can't see it because it's black.
Screw missing on the clear plastic on the entrance to ball lock, never needed it as plastic is very secure with just one screw.
Some historic cable joins on the molex connecting wires - never been an issue, but pictures show them.
Any questions please drop me a PM.
Looking for £2300 (Stupid dog not included!).
Collection from Long Sutton, Lincolnshire (PE12 9) - happy for you to use Martin or Matt, however happy for you to come and see it and collect too.
As most members here will understand, pinball machines sometimes don't like being moved around and will need adjustment when being set up in their new home. I'm not in a position to offer any warranty and support as this is a private sale.

I'm sure this won't be that interesting, but just keeping a track of what I'm doing on this machine.
A bit of fettling after the solid work done here: https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/getaway-hs2-roger-504-apprehend-him.56163/
Some minor cosmetic work and a bit of modding planned. Maybe a re-decal if I get clearance....
A few new ones for me being a newer breed, never cleaned a translite, much easier than the Krylon tasks needed on earlier machines.

And 3D printing day and night is making me very popular at home....not
I'll link the files I'm using...
