I have been repairing a Williams Flash (system 4). I have fitted an NVRAM and had a few issues with the switch Matrix. Now in self Test, everytghing works as it should. But. The game continues to throw out balls no matter what the settings say. (3 or 5) it churnsout balls and the ball in play increments to 9 then after that the machine continues to deliver balls but the Ball In Play is blank! It has totall foxed me I hasve tried a reset to factory conditions and checked and double check the settings for the number of balls Anyone with any ideas??

Sure the nvram is working properly ? Ie if you change settings then switch off and back on, do the settings remain?
Hi all Alan J you were spot on. There apparently is a known issue with NVRAM and certain versions of the game software held on the emproms. Replacing the RAM and batteries cured the proble. Just thought you guys should be aware
